Daggers Posted 30 September 2008 Author Posted 30 September 2008 I don't know how you manage it at rush hour it would terrify me I'm nails, that's how!
Jay Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 I'm nails, that's how! either that or you may well be as they say a few bricks short of a wall
davieG Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 either that or you may well be as they say a few bricks short of a wall Shouldn't that be two bricks short of a shit house
Phube Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 How many people drive compared to people that cycle? I don't know how you manage it at rush hour it would terrify me All these statements make my statement make sense! What an idiotic statement. You sure you are the one who smashed their head into a car today? The only cyclists I meet day to day, are the ones who cycle in rush hour. As such they have to be slightly mental anyway... but then their regard for the rules of the road are non-existent! I even saw a cyclist have a go at a driver for having the temerity do drive on the road he was jumping onto from from the pavement (let alone the fact that there was a pefectly good cycle path down the self same pavement!!) Tosser!!!
JakeShingler Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 You've been ranting about cyclists ever since this happened as if the rest of the world has perfume coming out of its collective arse. Amazingly there's cvnts who drive cars, there's cvnts who walk and I'll bet there's cvnts who ride in hot air balloons. Yh a man on Deal or No deal felli out his hot air bloon and landed in a green house
Daggers Posted 30 September 2008 Author Posted 30 September 2008 either that or you may well be as they say a few bricks short of a wall If I hadn't before then I'm sure today will have ensured it! Sue the cow! You have to believe it Al, the wife was busy taking pictures of me in the hospital while I was covered in blood. Tell you what though - some random bloke took my phone number shortly after the accident, I wasn't on the planet and just assumed he was filling in some paperwork. He phoned me this evening and came round because he picked up the bike, popped it in his car and kept it for the day before dropping it here just a short while ago. Some people are bloody stars, they really are. "Don't know where she was looking," he said "because you were lit up like an Xmas tree and I saw you from miles away!" As soon as I can drive I'm taking him a thank-you gift.
hairy Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 I'll make sure the Mrs finishes the job next time Daggers! She says she couldn't get enough speed up this time. PS She has no insurance or money

AoWW Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 I can't fooking move - that's why. Cycling to work and Commuter Mum turned right so that she could mount me on her bonnet. I guess she must have been distracted by the day-glo cycling jacket and the very bright flashing lights. This damn leg better start working properly for Saturday or someone is going to have to carry me to the beer festival and then the game. oooh thats sounds painfull. Painful?!! Too right - carrying Daggers that far sounds more than painful, it sounds blummin' impossible! I'll bring a wheelbarrow if you like, Dags?! Seriously though, I hope you mend quickly.
Guest Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 You'd better get better before the weekend. We've made special arrangements to get to this beer festival now.
Nick Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 I am always open to sex. I am still closed to having sex with you, however if you need a lift anywhere old son let me know. Hope your leg mends soon..... you have youth on your side. (aside Daggers takes a lifesaver glance over his right shoulder looking for cars and youths.) N.
Daggers Posted 1 October 2008 Author Posted 1 October 2008 You'd better get better before the weekend. We've made special arrangements to get to this beer festival now. Allrighty. I will instruct leg to self-mend now. Trouble with drinking is that it involves having to go to the toilet - there is nothing in my booklet about how you do that with two crutches and one leg. I am still closed to having sex with you That's what they all say - but they always succumb. It's my aftershave y'see...20% scent, 80%rohypnol. Always a winner.
Katy Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Bloody hell Daggers! Hope you are getting yourself mended, it could've been a lot worse - we've already sadly lost one member of the forum, we don't want to lose another
Wycombe Fox Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 This is so close to home at the minute. Glad you're going to be OK Daggers. Sadly, as I found out yesterday, a friend of mine was hit by a van whilst riding his cycle last Friday. He died shortly after. Van driver arrested. Should have been celebrating his 50th birthday this week. Instead it's his ****ing funeral
