Vital win, thought we'd thrown it away, but super Lloyd was there again. Top celebration when the ball looped over the keeper and in, then the run round the pitch

Fryatt's first goal was class also, Howard was unlucky with his disallowed goal. You could see how much it meant to him to "score".

Three welcome points to go into the international break, and results went in our favour today. Good day all round.

Oh my god, what a game, i dont know what to say really, that is one of the most enjoyable away days ever, absolutely immense.

The left side/right side was absolutely brilliant, seemed as though EVERYONE on each side was joining in, it was bloody fantastic.

What a way to win aswel, so many times we've had it done to us, its about time we got a lot one. What a second half though, first half was garbage, but my god i loved the second. I'm lost for words really. Just incredible. I'm proud to be a Leicester fan again.

We ended up having to win the game twice, mainly due to poor finishing in the first half and the defence and midfield going AWOL for 10 minutes after we went 2-0 up.

Credit to Huddersfield though for showing great fighting spirit. Liam Dickinson was impressive for them and deserved his goal. On this form it won't be long before Derby recall him.

The Delap-style long throws (most of which should have been disallowed as the thrower had a foot on the pitch) caused us some problems, but we just about managed to hold out.

With Millwall, Leeds and Oldham all slipping up in this round of fixtures, and Scunny blowing a two-goal lead, Lloyd's late, late winner may be one of the most vital goals of the season.

Well, here goes!

Leciester City are by far the best team we've played this season. Nothing spectacular but I couldn't pick a poor player on your side. You had more width than us and you kept your shape even when under serious pressure. The ref did favour you however and you seemed to get the rub of the green but that's what happens when you're up top. No complaints from me, although I thought we deserved a point.

I thought we just shaded it in the first half although both teams had chances to score and fluffed them. The second half was what football should be all about, both teams going at it hammer and tongs to score. It really was end to end stuff and while you took a 0-2 lead I thought we faught back in brilliant style. A lesser team would have allowed us to take all the points but in true fighting spirit you didn't give up and while the free kick leading to the winner was very dubious, Dyer took it well even though he 'shined it'

Easily the best game this season! Fabulous fan! Congratulations on hitting top spot! Hope you stay there!

Disappointed that Frankie Wortho didn't come out to greet us - he's my hero and a legend.

The atmopphere generated in the stadium proves that modern stadiums can work!

Couldn't even listen to it as I was at a wedding in Nottingham. Had a drink in a Forest pub before the ceremony, where it wasn't exactly buzzing, and couldn't celebrate the City winner properly because it came in the middle of the speeches. I did get to chat to a Forest fan afterwards and consoled him (in a really patronizing way) with the fact that they're still a place above us

Train journey - shit.

First half - shit.

Second half - Was much better, sat in top corner, 5 goals, last minute winner, three points, thankyou.

Would like to apologise to Leicester Lass, Bert & LD3 for asking to find the earring, found it in the end, though :sweating:

After the match - Kicked off abit, police hit some guy to the ground, who was running to get out the way with his 5 year old girl, not nice.

What was a bit of banter, turned out nasty. Road signs and everything were getting thrown, idiots.

Good away day. Bring on Oldham.

I think that's a pretty fair judgment.

You did well to come from 2-0 down and on balance, deserved a point. Personally, I don't think the ref did anyone a favour yesterday. We had a goal disallowed, whether it was offside or not, I'm not sure.

When you got it back to 2-2, fair play to us because we didn't let our heads drop. I think Pearson has instilled a winning mentality into our players, something we haven't had for a long time.

First time I've had a chance to comment since yesterday, what a hectic day it was.

The first half was the worst I have ever been involved in ever following Leicester. We didn't really do much on the pitch and then the **** in the orange jacket was determined on making it hell for myself and others. Even when we were on the attack or had a corner he was insistent in making people sit down and ruining it for the people that wanted to stand. I was on the back row so was doing nobody any harm, he was just so keen to be an arsehole.

Second half however it seemed the likeminded supporters grouped together on the right hand side and it made the day really. Some decent banter and then a cracker of a second half. Got massive cut down my leg from the last goal celebrations that were just pure carnage, nothing less.

Roll on Oldham.

The second half was an absolute corker enough said.

Good banter between the sets of fans.

Huddersfield stewards are the worst I have ever experienced....ABSOLUTE TOSSERS!! One particular who I labelled a "Trojan" he just didn't stop going. The rest of his clan followed suit. The police with their usual style camera that wouldn't look out of place on a mission impossible film set

Two bits i disagree with, i thought we could have been 2-0 up before you'd even been into our half. And as for the ref, i thought he was just garbage, didnt really favour anyone, he was just toss.

Apart from that, good assessment.

Also, i'd forgot about the stewards, fcking jobsworth w@nkers, i was forced to sit down in the first half (sharing a seat with who i'm sure said he was Tubes off here?! May be wrong). But in the second, i stood for most of the half, without being told to sit down. I just dont get them. Then the home fans were all standing up, i mean wheres the consistency?

Worst I've ever encountered and I doubt I'd go back there again.

The **** in the orange jacket was the worst by far. When we chanting "Sit down shut up" to the 'uddersfield fans, he turned around and said "Why don't you lot give that a go?". Tosser. Obviously had no idea of how to work a football crowd. Embarrasing.

Yeah, the one with a sort of beard, little cnut. At least it didnt put too much of a dampener on the day.

Second half was good, they gave up trying to tell us to sit down in the end.

First half was just me and Dicko turning round to you & Ben, boring gits on row K!

My first look at City this season - and then sitting with friends who are Huddersfield season ticket holders!

Their impressions were that City were by far the best footballing side they have met this season. They were VERY impressed with the skill and workrate of Fryatt and also rated Howard as a very effective traditional centre forward. I agreed with them and also thought that the game passed Oakley by (while King was effective) and that Hobbs looks an outstanding prospect. A draw would have been fair enough but who's complaining?

That 2nd half was pure comedy.

Ched whilst sitting "how are the tigers getting on lads!!!!!!"

The gethering right hand side was pure class.

There was also a pretty tasty cop down the side getting us to sit. Good luck love.

I do have to apologise for our (Huddersfield) stewards. In the early stages of the season they let the away fans do as they wished whilst throwing out countless home fans for standing. It got to the stage where they had police taking photos of any kind of standing, even when we scored!

We have complained to the club who pass us on to the saftey 'chief' (ex-copper), who doesn't want to know. Unfortunately thanks to our present asset stripping chairman (leaving next season thanks to our soon to be chairman Dean Hoyle), we no longer hold any shares in our ground thus have very little say in stewarding issues. However we have found out that if there's a large amount standing they leave you to it, which makes less sense then allowing a majority to stand at the back. Tossers the lot of them!

Anyway a good game in the 2nd half. You're the best team we've played this season but I think a draw would be fair. Credit though for not bottling it after throwing away the lead (I know we would!).

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Yeah a draw would have been fair I must agree but I'm delighted that we took all three points, keeps us ahead of the pack abit.

As for the stewarding, I would agree with Ched that I don't think I would go back to Huddersfield. Members of the city crowd were being bullied including myself for standing up, even though a good 4 or 5 rows ahead of us were standing. How the hell do they expect me to sit down when supporters infront are standing? :frusty:

Best comment of the day from Muz/Dan to a steward "Is this your second job, or are you just a failed traffic warden?" lol

Pubs were cracking though.

Along with Sheffield, Huddersfield is probably the best town for pubs.
