Flemmish Posted 4 October 2008 Author Posted 4 October 2008 Not bad. does there ground hold 18000? Nope, it's 24,500.
JakeShingler Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Nope, it's 24,500. Oh ok. So why was every one like thay have sold out there ground?
Bryn Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Just back from town, thought we'd lose this today actually, would have been pleased with a draw. Cracking result.
loverofinsanefox Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Huddlesfield fan was just going nuts on the radio at poor refereeing decisions costing them! Who cares! Great result, and pleased that despite them making a comeback, we stuck with it and got the result!
Flemmish Posted 4 October 2008 Author Posted 4 October 2008 Oh ok. So why was every one like thay have sold out there ground? Hmm, beats me. Maybe because City were a sell out for the away end?
Thracian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Huddlesfield fan was just going nuts on the radio at poor refereeing decisions costing them!Who cares! Great result, and pleased that despite them making a comeback, we stuck with it and got the result! I bet he didn't mention Howard's disallowed goal or the offside against Fryatt when he was clear. Or the two one-on-one's we wasted.
maddog Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 What a win, this just shows how much things have turned around. Going to a tough place like Huddersfield, one of the most difficult away games in my view against a play-off potential side who were unlucky not to beat Oldham last week. We get 2-0 up, they get back to 2-2 in a few minutes. Then theres only 1 way the game can go, we end up losing 3-2. Yet it is us who get another late late winner and take it 3-2. Incredible really, i know it's only 9 games in but as long as we don't get loads of injuries (we already have loads ) but as long as the midfielders, especially Dyer stay fit, the defence stays strong we should definately go up. We have 2 strikers out and still managed 3 more goals. Superb, superb. Theres not a team i would prefer to support at the moment apart from Hull. We are going up say we are going up
Thracian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Who's Jordan Mutch Don't worry. It's Mutch Ado About Nothing.
Uncle Albert Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Well done boys. Really, really pleased. When I heard we had lost a 2 goal lead I was pissed off but winning again in the last minute is such a happy feeling. Lloyd Dyer I salute you. Come on boys!
purpleronnie Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Just got back I had to do a few hours at work. Brilliant stuff.
Durnerz Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Just got back I had to do a few hours at work. Brilliant stuff. Same here. Delighted with the result, feed the Lloyd and he will score!
EnigmaticFox Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 I don't know about anyone else, but I do like this Div one life. We are large fish in a small pond. Whereas in the campionship to an extent, and the Premier, we are just one of many! Can't we just stay in this league for a few years! Winning it every year and refuse to be promoted? Ok, ok just jolking (well, half)!
Acetripper Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Just called home before I go to the local! Great game - apart from the result! You look like very solid team, not flashy or over confident but solid! Great Banter with your fans mostly but some trouble after in the Town - Young chavs having it! Cops getting some activity for once. Not overly pi**d off but thought we deserved a point! Your luck was in today! I'll give a considered report on the match from a Terrier point of view later! Well done AceT
BigGibbo Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 I was always of the opinion that we were in such a mess the last few years, that as long as it didn't finish us off going down could be the kick up the arse we needed & I think its going to turn out that way! Come on Leicester!
Jackirius Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 well we not playing out best are we but were winning but hey thats a good thing
BigGibbo Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 well we not playing out best are we but were winningbut hey thats a good thing Thats a great thing! A true sign of worthy champions is winning when you're not playing at your full potential!
Jackirius Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 yeh but id like to see a game where we can forfil our true potencial and show what we are capable of
Daggers Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Thats a great thing! A true sign of worthy champions is winning when you're not playing at your full potential! And having a midfield player cropping up time and again with match-winning goals!
MC Prussian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 I love you Leicester. Ooh err... Hold your horses... I still can't quite handle this excitement. The past few years have truly wrecked me.
BigGibbo Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 And having a midfield player cropping up time and again with match-winning goals! My lord Lloyd Dyer
