Sods Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Do Primark make kits? I hope so, Primark do everything dont they?
The Stig Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 I like the Jako kits, just because they're not a brand name people slag them off. They've been a damnsite better than the JJB ones.
Matt Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Barr the tacky Topps Tiles sponsor (Which is up come the end of this season? ) I like the current shirt. Perhaps the neck could be bit more "fitted". As The Stig said it's better than the JJB ones, and i'd rather Jako over JJB.
JakeShingler Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Would this mean all the tracksuits coats etc will be adidas if so thats a goo thing right?
Ashley Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Would this mean all the tracksuits coats etc will be adidas if so thats a goo thing right? Yes.
JoeyB Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Would this mean all the tracksuits coats etc will be adidas if so thats a goo thing right? We'll just have Adidas Shirts and Jacko Tracksuits makes sense! And if you have seen the state of the current stuff it is a good thing yes, although i am tempted to buy myself a training jacket http://www.lcfcdirect.com/retproddetail.aspx?d=4&id=1053 Well i think its nice
lavrentis Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Kappa Oh dear, aren't they the skin tight ones. Don't they do the Welsh ones as well, they are horrible kits.
Guest Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Hope it is true, I don't know alot about business, but I'm sure it would be cheaper to pay Jako to make a kit, than Adidas, so why would Mandy pay out. Maybe he's thinking, people are more likely to buy an Adidas shirt .. so if he shells out a bit, he may recouperate it? How many more times..... It would cost the club to use one of the "big" name sports manufacturers, as we are not big enough to have anything but an out of the catalogue kit. The club would then have to buy the kit, and all the associated training gear. With the "smaller" manufacturers, the design is unique and specific to the club, plus they provide the club with all the kits and training gear they need etc. Unfortunately for some, it's a no brainer.
whitlock Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 A shirts a shirt. It wont make us play any better or any worse. I do and always will buy the new strip every season what ever it may look like. Pink Green Brown, doesnt bother me, will always wear it with pride. Thats my view.

Halfsy Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Blue home shirts, shorts and white socks with the adidas hoops would look very smart! Red adidas away kit like Liverpool too! With a star above the badge for winning this years league? Haha!

markbsac Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 I couldn't give a monkeys who makes our kits it's the badge on the left that matters not the brand on the right of the shirt but the problem is even the badge is crap...ive never seen such a poor leicester shirt in my life..the badge is just a sewn on patch..in the past we had them integrated into the shirt even the jjb shirts were better....adidas are quality shirts all you saying they are not go down to jjb and see for yourselfs, the scouse shirts are quality...must say that man ures are even better.
BigGibbo Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Oh dear, aren't they the skin tight ones. Don't they do the Welsh ones as well, they are horrible kits. I have no idea I just remember the old Man City kit that Kinkladze used to skin everybody in. I bought some Kappa poppers on the strength of that kit, they were the gayest craze ever!

The badge is embroided. What JJB did was a chep material which was literally glued on to the shirt. This is considerably cheaper to make, and considerably worse quality. The actual material of the shirt this year is of higher quality. It's more smooth and silky, where was the JJB one was thinner and much cheaper polyester type material which wears very quickly. It's the type of material you get on those black or white Gym shorts you're Mum used to buy you from P.E in Tesco. The Jako kits are MUCH better quality, fact.

Guest Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Unless the new kit is made by Gucci out of the finest silk, with both the badge and sponsor logo woven with gold thread, I shaln't be buying it. Especially if there isn't a matching handbag.
Number 6 Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 I find it funny that a lot of people moan about the current kits, and then probably go out and buy them just because they feel they have to Why would MM change the make? I like the current shirts anyway. Didn't like the yellow but the black is a big improvement, and I think the home one is the best we have had for a while, nice material and looks good imo.
JakeShingler Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 I fancy a cotton traders kit Youll be sweating like monkey!
