The Stig Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 I honestly don't mind who we get on the shirt so long as they don't have a hideous daft logo. Like a walking tile.

Mr Posh Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Ill try and get a proof off him - and ill ask him for more details - but Adidas make Peterboroughs and Derby kit so its not unrealistic!!Watch this space...........!! I think there's a very good chance that this is true. It's quite funny reading this thread as it's very similar to what Posh supporters were saying last season when our kit with adidas was announced. Don't get too excited like we did only to end up with the same home kit as Macclesfield Town On the plus side your club shop will have a huge range of Leicester City adidas gear - If you like that kind of thing. Looking forward to our meetings this season. All the best.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 A tight Kappa could would be unreal. Come on!
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 A tight Kappa could would be unreal.Come on! True - that said I find all of the shirts are skin tight already!
davieG Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 As much as I agree can't see it, They have a big sponsorship on the stadium, doubt they'd sponsor the shirt aswell. They got the sponsorship of the Stadium for a pittance and it was all paid up front when the stadium opened so they're not really sponsoring anything much at the moment. Didn't they also sponsor the shirt at the same time. Anyway with the credit crunch I doubt we'll get much in the way of sponsorship anyway, even Topps were struggling not longer after the came on board.
lildave3 Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 We scrapped it. They'd just put this beauty out for general sale when, out of no-where, the FAW seemed to cancel the contract with Kappa. We now have this monstrosity, courtesy of JJB. Nothing wrong with that kit. Champion don't make too bad kits actually, both of Wigan's are very nice.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 A tight Kappa could would be unreal.Come on! How about that for an away kit? Knocked it up on paint so it's not the best quality mock up.
lildave3 Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 How about that for an away kit? Knocked it up on paint so it's not the best quality mock up. Hideous.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Hideous. Yeah okay it's not my best work. It is basically just a Feyenoord kit with the first results on Google Images for all the elements.
Fox You Forest Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 I couldn't disagree more about a tight Kappa shirt.

Fox You Forest Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 I think we should go all Stade Francais....
billyfox1 Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 I think we should go all Stade Francais.... i think we would struggle to justify that amount of stars
Alexikokopops Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 I think we should go all Stade Francais.... TPH: Insurance underwriter, Foxestalk lurker and Stade Francais shirt designer.
Fox You Forest Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 TPH: Insurance underwriter, Foxestalk lurker and Stade Francais shirt designer. It does look like the shirt he posted the other day.
moseeds Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 Im surprised the club haven't attempted to court "nicer looking" local companies such as Next, Triumph, A&L...Tigers managed to grab Caterpillar so it can be done. Shouldn't we be getting a local manufacturer like Admiral interested too?

Babylon Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 Turns out this could actually be true. "The reason jako ihas been dumped is the qualty and the over sizing of the kit. This is now fact jako is gone. The three bidding for our new kit is Admiral, Mitre, Adidas." Newton on Talking balls.

All would be good IMO, cheers Babs for the update Hopefully we will have a side good enough to justify these mighty brands

Good grief, 2 footballing greats that haven't been spotted since Nigel Spink and Mel Sterland.
