lazeez Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 I was just wondering how long we have hobbs for and do Liverpool have any clauses which can see him get called back earleir as Skrtel seems to be out for a long time and it doesn't seem Liverpool have much cover in that department.
Finnegan Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 We have him on a season-long loan, no? Which usually gives us some security in the deal. The exception with Marton Fulop was a clerical mishap on Mandaric's part iirc?

lazeez Posted 7 October 2008 Author Posted 7 October 2008 Thats ok then, was hoping the same thing doesn't happen as with Fulop. As lons as their is no gentlemans agreement like Allen, it should be all good
Jimmy Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Thats ok then, was hoping the same thing doesn't happen as with Fulop. As lons as their is no gentlemans agreement like Allen, it should be all good well we're dealing with Rafa Benitez not Roy Keane so the Gentlemen's agreement would be honoured anyway
dog_4 Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 if we lose him early who cares, the best defender outside the premiership kisnorbo is back. Him and Tunchev will be awesome together.
Bert Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 if we lose him early who cares, the best defender outside the premiership kisnorbo is back. Him and Tunchev will be awesome together. I can't wait until certain members read that. But to be honest he isn't even in the top 10 best defenders outside of the prem.

Asha Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 if we lose him early who cares, the best defender outside the premiership kisnorbo is back. Him and Tunchev will be awesome together. Kisnorbo really isn't that good. I would personally care if we lost Hobbs early.
SamL Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Hobbs is easily better than Kisnorbo, FACT. If anything, we should sell Kisnorbo to raise funds to sign Hobbs. Hobbs is highly rated at Liverpool so we might not have a hope of signing him, but if we had substantial funds you never know.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Kisnorbo really isn't that good. I would personally care if we lost Hobbs early. Yes. Let's loose two quality centre backs and only have Morrison and Tunchev at the club. To be honest I wouldnt want to lose either of these two, people are saying Kisnorbo isnt that good. Whatever.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 the best defender outside the premiership kisnorbo is back. Him and Tunchev will be awesome together. If Kisnorbo could pass the ball then I'd be inclined to say he is one of the best, and yes him and Tunch should be great together. Both could definitely fit in comfortably at championship level never mind League 1.
Southern Fox Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Kisnorbo is our best defender at the club He was our best defender last season too And altho it was a bit of statement to say he was the best outside the Premiership - there are not many better
Koke Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Passing a ball to a team mate 10 yards, 15, 20, is one of the most basic things in football. If a pro like Kisnorbo still haven't learned it at the age of 27, then he never will. An exceptional defender when it comes to the actual defending, but soo appalling on the ball it makes you cry (if not laugh).
dog_4 Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 kisnorbo is quality, good positioning, solid, one of the best defenders last year in the league. so i'll stick with that statement. Has been wanted by birmingham, everton and newcastle in the past so can't be too bad

Bert Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 I don't think anyone will deny the fact that he is good. But he certainly isn't the best defender outside of the premiership.
