Thracian Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 When you're top of the League, winning consistently, scoring goals and not conceding many it is hard to make a case for changing the team unless there are injuries and why should he need too? Henderson, Kisnorbo, Porter, Campbell and Gradel on the bench for me but it will be Mattock instead of Porter, I've no doubts.

I still think Pearson could be a bit more pro-active when we look to be running out of ideas, not that it's a massive problem as we're flying at the minute.

Right now I don't think either would improve our defence, especially Mattock.

Whilst he may not walk back into the defence calling him a "horrible player" is harsh. And as for the second bit ... in which game was it that any central defender we have has done anything other than heading or tackling? I must have missed the 30 yard wonder strikes, the defence splitting through balls and the mazy runs from one penalty area to the other.
