Yes. We didn't use him last season and went down. This season we've used him all the time and we've been at or near the top throughout. Gradel the same. Yes, there have been other important factors but the influence of those two has still been considerable.
Another ridiculous statement by Raj. I sometimes wonder how people get to 8,000 plus replies!

Two fantastic posts!

The vast majority of Raj's posts are jokes, which we like. Don't dis him, we know where you live.

Yes. But there is one big difference that you fail to mention. Last year was the Championship, this year it is a division below!

Our current side is far better than last year's and the players in it can only play the fixtures they're given. And they sounded pretty good against Fulham.

Though obviously not that much better. Winning against Brighton and avoiding those recent draws in this division would have been a step closer to proving that for me.

If we are better than last year why are we beneath S****horpe who have a weaker team best performance lose to Fulham last year beart A Villa lost 4-3 to Chelsrea hammered WBA 4-1. Whilst I like Pearson the fact is last years team would be doing as well or better under Holloway it is a very weak division

You have absolutely no evidence to say how well last year's team would perform in this League under Holloway.

I would argue we've got a better team because we'd been conceding fewer goals, scoring more goals and winning more points.

I would also say the arrival of Dyer and Gradel has strengthened us on the wings, especially as it would be hard to be worse.

But I might be forced o change my mind in time.

When Mr Mandaric, a poor man's Jesus Gil, has put in the years of support for this club as I've done, I might take his views a little more seriously.

No really, it's taken Mr M a relatively short time to realise we have a small number of coonts following us. Whether they've been coonts for days or many years matters not, they're coonts.

Like I say, stay in the pub.

The same applies the other way!

You'd expect a team of same or similar quality to ship less goals and score more and hence win more points if it's at a lower level :frusty:

As if Mr M isn't a "coont" himself..

By my reckoning, the number of home fans in attendance yesterday was 4k down on the previous home fixture. It looks like he could pay a VERY heavy price for shooting his mouth off before engaging his brain.

I wouldn't say that's down to Milan shouting his mouth off, but more down to the fact that we haven't played as well at home of late so it's put people off.

Person 1 = I have an opinion

Person 2 = You're a twat

Argument over. How very, very sad.

It wouldn't matter which League today's team was in - they would score more goals than last season's because they have more players capable of scoring.

It was a feature last season that we had insufficient fire power even acknowledging that Fryatt would always score in lower League football but would struggle higher up.

We got no goals or assists from the wings last season and nothing from central midfield. And I don't think we would have had even in the Conference. It had been a long-standing problem recognised by most people.
