James. Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 It was Brighton, a pretty shit team.Tag on the two pretty shit teams that we dropped four points to and I'm wondering when it is mutually acceptable to start being pissed off with this run of crap form? If we were losing while playing brilliant football I wouldn't be pissed off - but we are playing shit (not having seen tonight). When can I get really pissed with the team and Pearson? November? February? Someone give me a date so I know when to start. I never said when you should be pissed off. I was talking about the people crying about how we won't get promoted and it's a disgrace and the world is about to end. Just a little perspective is required. Cobbo got it about right.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I wasn't critiquing Martin's performance. Read the post. Of course, it all seems so clear now! And why the hell is Martin in the side? He's gash.
Staf Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Agreed well played to the people who went I keep telling myself it is only October but being 6th in the league makes feel like shite everytime i look at the league. Personally i think we should get Hendo back in goal. I wasnt there to say who played well or not but if Hobbs played bad then he can get out of the team aswell personally he worries me. Slightly worried that since Kisnorbo and Mattock have been back we havent won

Maybe you need to be a bit clearer then Jim...seems like you were exclaiming no one should be annoyed about this result.
Aberdeen_fox Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Last time I was on here we were top! Back on to say I'm getting worried. Been throwing away 2 goal leads since the Premiership days but this one seems harder to take as it's against what seems a very average League One side. Hopefully we get back on track on Saturday - bring back Henderson! Still pissed off though.
Corky Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 It's time for Henderson to get his place back. He's not perfect, but he's a better keeper than Martin. I don't know if any of the goals were his fault tonight, but he looks shaky and the defence doesn't look confident with him in goal.
Jimmy Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Was it actually Martins fault? like that matters to some people
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Cant wait to hear NP after match report tomorrow, I bet the excuse will be they had a GAME plan because we are a big club, What a pathetic result for a club of our stature it looks like its going to another season like last.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Errrmmm excuse me Negativity - cut it out, blind optimism must continue well past Christmas. Sometimes you can be a total and utter cvnt of Ultra proportions. I guess you regularly ask people if they wish to upsize orders based on the current level of your logic. I'll not bother debating with you, you seem hopelessly incapable of it.

It wasn't posted to spark debate, and in fact I agreed with your point. Put me on ignore.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 The fact is since Kisnorbo, Mattock and Gradel have been brought back we haven't won a game. What's Morrison done wrong, I think he's been class this season and a much better bet for right back. People are having a go at Martin and fair enough he's been shaky everytime I've seen him. Don't get me started on King, another in the mould of Williams and Hughes a pathetic luxury player.

Against Mk Dons the defence looked more solid than they do when Martin has been in goal.
Tilley Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Only one man can save us from this mess.... Not got the funds.

Adams played against Oldham so you can't say its Gradel's fault, besides against Walsall he supplied both our goals, set up a couple of great chances against Northampton too
Anish Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Pathetic. We've capitulated again and thrown away another 2-0 lead - thoroughly unprofessional. I don't care if Brighton got lucky with a few long rangers - the fact is that they are a poor side, had not won at home all season before tonight, and had no recognised strikers and yet they still scored 3 past us. We have now conceded 5 goals in the last 3 games which is just not good enough for a team chasing promotion. Serious questions need to be asked about our defence (and that included midfielders who don't close down long range shots) and goalkeeper. Pearson has got to sort it out now, we can't afford to drop any more points on Saturday. 4 games without a win and poor performances to boot is now a cause for concern.
Samilktray Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Not got the funds. Expressed a desire to come here.
Tevez Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Why don't Leicester just fook off and curl up into a ball. The past seasons have been absolutely shit and I think this is the final straw for me and I'm sure many others.

The past seasons have been absolutely shit and I think this is the final straw for me and I'm sure many others. That is exacty how i feel at the minute. I just cant be bothered worrying about Leicester anymore the shite we have had to suffer for the past few seasons and i really thought things were getting better. I may be overreacting but at the minute with no win in 4 i just cant be arsed for another season of shit and a season of giving leads away and in general shite performances. I want to just forget about Leicester at the minute but i know as soon as i go school some tw@t will take the piss
Tevez Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Leicester clearly aint got the minerals for League One. Can't even beat a bunch of fakin Sailors or Walsall?!?! then again Ricketts was on it!

As I said earlier - it's about an abusive relationship, we all need to go find new partners.
dilko2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 All the interviews and all the grumbling isn't going to give us a penalty and a 3-0 lead. We lost focus and concentration and we seemed to stop going forward. It's an awful result. Smacks of being shoddy and unprofessional. I don't know whether it's since Kisnorbo came back or since Hobbs moved to full-back but our distribution from the back is sounding awful. il go for Hobbs at Full Back and No Gilbert for me as many changes as possible for sat!!
