GLC Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 its happened before, but last time we won 3-2 midfield was sh*t no leader in the middle, martin isnt good enough!!!!
lcfcrinaldi Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 We are 4 points off top with a game in hand, so what we are having a dip in form we arnt gonna win every game, just move on to the next. If we are going to be naive and think we can just walk a game at 2-0 in this league then we will stay in this league for a few seasons to come, yes we should have walked it but shouldnt have been as casual as we was. And why is everyone completely hating Pearson a a month ago he was god but now we are 4 points from top he should leave straight away!? No basicaly.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I don't know whether it's since Kisnorbo came back or since Hobbs moved to full-back but our distribution from the back is sounding awful. Last Saturday just screamed that as a problem.

Fox Mulder Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Hobbs isn't a full back. We wouldn't play him in goal, so why is he playing full back?
JakeShingler Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1435709,00.html The poor city fans look freezing And the cvunt at the bottom
Staf Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 i dont hate pearson but no decent options on the bench, attacking wise I agree i dont know who was on the bench tonight but in the last couple of games our subs have been so defensive. I know our attackers like Campbell, Dickov and Chambers have been injured but maybe we should throw some attacking youngsters on the bench.
lcfcrinaldi Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Hobbs isn't a full back.We wouldn't play him in goal, so why is he playing full back? Probably because he is a full back and he would probably im guessing be rubbish in goal.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Kerrea can't come back soon enough.
Anish Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Another thing - will Pearson ever change tactics and try something different? He's always bringing on like-for-like subs and keeping the same 4-4-2 system even if it's not working. Tonight Adams comes on for Gradel when the score was 2-2 (I believe) - why not try him in the centre or play him in a 5 man midfield and take of one of the defenders? Every substitution by Pearson this season, from my memory, has been a like-for-like swap keeping the same tactics. There are times when he needs to gamble with an extra attacker - I'm sure we could've done with something different against Walsall and Northampton.

I believe thats why none of us are league football managers.
Corky Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I hope that face means there will be a serious backlash on Saturday.

Munzie Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Who needs words when you have pictures like this! Potentially, some of our players tonight will need a strip being torn from them. This is where Pearson will start to earn his money and prove he has what it takes as our manager. The honeymoon period is well and truly over. He will need to learn from the last few weeks mistakes, analyse his squad, suss Bristol Rovers strengths and weaknesses and adjust tactics accordingly. Too many of our first team has remained unchanged other than to compensate for injuries. Other than tinkering with our back four, I've seen very little evidence of squad rotation or different formations to counter oppostion or the run of the game. We are still in a congested period of fixtures and confidence and fitness levels will take their toll on some of the players. We are stuttering Nigel...get us started again please.
FleckneyFox Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Send Martin and Hobbs back! Even some of Hobbs' later performances at centre half have worried me. So Angry about tonight and im not looking forward to Saturday and a certain Mr Lambert! We need changes down the middle, Bring in Hendo and Adams for Martin and That lightweight Welsh bottler of a centre mid. Morrison Right back if no Kerrea. Centre Mid, Striker and Goalie in January! Also when is Ash Chambers back? Based on what i saw pre-season he could walk into the side at the moment.
Finn Claw Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Just got back home (London) - I feel for those still on the long journey back. View at the ground was terrible and all the action was at the other end so it is pretty hard to judge the team. That said the central midfield didn't seem to offer anything either going forwards or protecting the back four and Hobbs needs to be told he is over 6 foot and should start intimidating players more. I'd seriously consider playing Kisiskev (sp)
Ozwin Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 He looks ****ing fuming! I still don't think there's anything to worry about just yet, I mean we're not going to win every game, we're not going to perform every game and we're bound to have rough patches like this current one. I think it's all about the manager now sorting them out, keeping confidence high and basically sorting out the problems. It's going to be a tight season, plus there's AGES to go yet.
Ultra Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Where has all the optimism gone? Where are all the people who attacked those who were negative about Walsall and Northampton? Why is everyone overreacting? This defeat was predictable given the last few performances but 90% of people blinkered themselves to the fact we didn't lose the last two games. Including the chairman, it would seem. Not for the first time, he has been made to look an absolute buffoon.
keefox Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 embarrasing again by leicester. no spirit, no leader, no hope ! why is mandaric so quiet this season ? still - UP THE CITY ! (eeeeerrrrrmmmmmm?)
Sods Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Just got back. Wank to say the least. Hope everyone had a safe journey back, was bad for us.
Ultra Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Sometimes you can be a total and utter cvnt of Ultra proportions.I guess you regularly ask people if they wish to upsize orders based on the current level of your logic. I'll not bother debating with you, you seem hopelessly incapable of it.
