dandannieldanok Posted 31 October 2008 Posted 31 October 2008 This game has goals written all over it considering Rovers' scoring and defending records, and us following a similar path against Brighton.
Corky Posted 31 October 2008 Posted 31 October 2008 Odds on how quickly we hear Goodnight Irene? 2:45pm, but the booing will drown it out
dilko2008 Posted 31 October 2008 Posted 31 October 2008 Bring out David Lowe or the Might of David Oldfield....................................... Failing that JIMMY WILLIS!!
lildave3 Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 2:45pm, but the booing will drown it out As much as I hate booing, hearing it constantly ringing round for the duration of the game would be hilarious. Our answer to the Millwall noise.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 I'd like a win, but fear a score draw Why does a score draw signal the end of the world or something???
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 Odds on how quickly we hear Goodnight Irene? Or how many times - but it's a catchy little song. Can we NOT do a Bristol City special and amend the words to 'fook off Irene.' But maybe we should do 'your a priate me hearty, yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr's after a goal kick???
Fox Mulder Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 I've been gargling salt water this morning so that my throat will be in tip top condition to boo those losers in blue should the need arise.
FoxInWales Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 Why does a score draw signal the end of the world or something??? 3 point out the last 12 - we need a win
Jonezy Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 KOM SÅ LEICESTER!!! Hopefully Nigel's face when he left the Brighton pitch means that our players will be fired up for this one.
Kilworthfox Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 KOM SÅ LEICESTER Yeah lets fook em up! Dirty Welsh bastards
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 Come on boys, Let's get back to winning ways today. Please........ Pretty Please........
Thracian Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 Looking forward to seeing some "I'm off to the pub" teeshirts. Wonder if Silkey will have some on his stand! I won't predict anything about the likely result but I'd be setting out policy for the rest of the season and so no-one was in danger of being confused. It would involve a full commitment to attack and the principal that if we did score there would be only one aim for the team thereafter - to score again. There would never be any thoughts of "sitting" on any lead nor of backing off in any way unless we were forced to. Defending is not about whacking people. It's about being first to the ball and closing down quickly in packs. You cannot do that if the back line isolates itself by going into deep retreat whenever the opposition get the ball.
sbfox Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 Just seen a big group of Rovers fans down in Bristol (yeah thats right, man on the inside...) leaving for City. They look quite up for it, if not a bit unrealistic in their expectations. I heard calls for Lambert to get 3 against us...
