Thracian Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 It's all knee-jerk reactions, Corky. The result is no knee jerk. It's 2-2. We've got one point instead of three. And we're second instead of first on the same number of games played. In other words we've lost ground. And we seem to have lost it for no good reason having wrested control of the game for most of the second half.

I don't think he's not passionate, I bet he is seething inside, he just didn't sound as angry as I'd expect him to be.

I wonder if people will still be going on about knee jerk reactions if we miss out on automatic promotion by 2 points come the end of the season. Swindon were awful, there for the taking. To concede 2 goals in the way we did is shocking. What annoys me most is that we looked almost arrogant at 2-0 up. Bad attitude and lack of concentration cost us, Pearson has to sort that out. And fast.

Anish Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Been out all day and just got back to see the result. What the fook is that all about? Disgraceful to concede 2 goals in the last 5 minutes. Pearson's got himself into trouble too now that we've lost Howard next week and none of the other strikers have played 45 minutes between them for months. If we lose next week the knives will be out I'm sure.

They were down the other end to me but they just looked soft and sloppy. As I said before it was down to our lack of concentration and bad attitude as opposed to any invention or good football from Swindon. This is massively disappointing. We can go on about how a point away from home is good but we are a promotion chasing side and the expectations have to be higher. I'm not panicing but I want to see Pearson sort out what I see as a significant weakness that could come back to haunt us again.

Yeah they did, Swindon fans were very loud as well at times best ive seen this season. The thing is for 85 minutes or whatever when they scored we were totally in control, first half maybe they had the edge becuase of the wind. Then because of no reason we decide to let them back in the game. When that goes in you just know we will concede again. Pissing annoying.
