Mikey Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 We should be 4 points clear by now if we hadn't dropped 2-0 leads today and at Brighton.
Nugent Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Utter crap. We can't keep doing this if we want to get promoted.
SussexFox Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 i know its knee jerk but you really cannot keep throwing leads like this away and hope to get promoted
harpendenfox Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Two pints dropped for sure to add to three at Brighton. Then again we stole three against Bristol Rovers. We're second, I'm convinced we will only get better, and go up automatically.
Corky Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Three times this has happened now. We got away with it at Huddersfield, but the last two we haven't. It has got to stop fast.
Guest shearfox Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Should have been an easy win... it sounded like we were in complete control at two nil and suddenly two goals from nowhere not good enough...
Thracian Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Like Daggers I really don't understand why we didn't make a change as soon as we went 2-0 up to give DJ some important match time and to allow Pearson to issue timely reminders about late-stage concentration and tactics.
Asha Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Should have won that. Losing a 2-0 lead with 6 minutes left just isn't acceptable. Especially as we should have learned from it.
Tilley Posted 15 November 2008 Author Posted 15 November 2008 Huddersfield, Brighton & now Swindon. We have some serious mentality issues at 2-0. Pearson needs to sort them out before Saturday, & get in their head a game is 90 minutes long, not 85.
EnigmaticFox Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 I have a theory that, if we are ever leading by more that 1-0 Manderic gets onto Pearson, to tell him to ease off. Manderic wants us to stay in this Division for another season, as he feels we aren't ready yet for the Championship!! Oh well I'm clutching at any straw! No one can be this inept as us, when leading by 2 goals
gazzer Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 just imagine the goals happened in the reverse order and you'll feel better... away points are nothing to cry about anyway
Foxhateram Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 i know its knee jerk but you really cannot keep throwing leads like this away and hope to get promoted oh ffs. Were second place only two points behind top. Its a good position to be. A draw against a team that has had its club turned upside down like that and the caretaker manager is in a honeymoon period isnt a bad result. Admittedly we should have won. However lets not start going on about not getting promoted because of this that and the other again all bloody week.
Stevosevic Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 This is very bad, interesting to see what happens next week now.
JoeyB Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 2 points dropped. We need to win next Saturday now. I blame DJ campbell ( i know he was hardly on but i still blame him )
Lovejoy Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 What a bleeding joke. Royally cocked up today .
