Webbo Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 Only it's not Christmas, it's November the 19th.
lookwhaticando Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 You know it's nearly Christmas as soon as the last one's done with. The ringing of bells on New Years eve signals to retailers that it's time to start flogging your Christmas wares. I swear.
Bert Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 If you're looking for Christmas cards for nexy year, wait 'til after this years has gone, as they're all well badly reduced. May seem silly now, but saves some money! GLC is right, love the coca-cola advert!
MC Prussian Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 You know it's Christmas when they put up pine trees and all that shabang in plain sunlight at the Los Angeles Farmer's Market on Fairfax and 3rd. Street salesmen trying to lure you with fake snow (add water to a white powder that resembles detergent). 92 degrees Fahrenheit and Bing Crosby echoing from planted loudspeakers. Enough said. It's a farce.
lavrentis Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 It should be illegal for anything remotely to do with Christmas appear before 31st November.
Asha Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 It should be illegal for anything remotely to do with Christmas appear before 31st November. Erm....what? You're right though. The start of December seems like a reasonable time.
GLC Posted 19 November 2008 Author Posted 19 November 2008 It should be illegal for anything remotely to do with Christmas appear before 31st November. it shouldnt, ive been singing christmas songs all week ,

stez Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 You know it's nearly Christmas as soon as the last one's done with. The ringing of bells on New Years eve signals to retailers that it's time to start flogging your Christmas wares. I swear. that's probably the funniest thing you've said for, around, 17 months!

Corky Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 My "Santa is a Leicester fan" hat comes out. Well, I haven't actually got one, but if I did, you know......
Guest Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 I had to walk out of a shop because they were playing "Last Christmas".
Corky Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 I had to walk out of a shop because they were playing "Last Christmas". I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you took it away
Guest Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you took it away Last Christmas is awesome. :@:@ I'd rather listen to Shaky.
Corky Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 :@:@I'd rather listen to Shaky. What about a bit of Noddy- "IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!"
Lamby Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 I had to walk out of a shop because they were playing "Last Christmas". They was playing that on Virgin Trains Radio on the way back from Brummy on Sat, a bit too early imo
RowlattsFox Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 we start singing Jingle Bells after an away victory.
Corky Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 we start singing Jingle Bells after an away victory. I heard some singing it after Colchester. That version is all year round
Guest Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 What about a bit of Noddy- "IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!" That one goes without saying really. You can't have Christmas without a bit of Slade. They was playing that on Virgin Trains Radio on the way back from Brummy on Sat, a bit too early imo Any time is too early for that record.
Corky Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 You know it's Christmas when the up-lifting, cheery, heart-warming feel of The Pogues- Fairytale of New York comes on the radio/TV <_<
Lamby Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 Any time is too early for that record. Yeah. I've had it stuck in my head for the past 2 weeks aswell Wheres all the good Christmas songs these days? I Wont Be Home For Christmas by Blink 182 is one of them (who might be re-forming btw)
Corky Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 The 12 Ormondroyds of Christmas better get an airing this year.
