Alexikokopops Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 That was clearly not an insult. Simply a fact. It was your tone of voice. I could tell over the internet
General Smuts Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 It was your tone of voice. I could tell over the internet I will end you.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 I will end you. I'll be abroad plucking Branson's beard under an umbrella held by a Malaysian fitty to keep the sun off us.

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 It (probably next season) will be probably be renamed "Virgin F1" which has it's downsides. "Jenson Button, the sole remaining Virgin in the race..." He'd end up trying to get a two seater allowed so punters could sit behind the driver at an exhaubatant price! He does like his little projects doesn't he - first Ballooning, then the Moon (to be continued) now F1! Me thinks he has an evil layer somewhere and is planning a dastardly attack on the world? (Also know as Virgin Trains!)
StanSP Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Just read on BBC that Rosberg is unhappy about races being played later in the afternoon as it effects the driving when the light starts to fade. Also noted one of his reasons of criticism was that they were being raced later to maximise TV audiences in Europe. So he obviously feels it's all about the money for the sport. What do we think of his thoughts?? Agree? Disagree?

Thats why the oz grand prix is ran at the time it is. The F1 bosses said to them its either a dusk/night race or you lose the race altogether. Still a good chance that they might lose it next couple of seasons
Brainy Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I can understand why he's concerned as the sun is lower and drivers were struggling to see anything at turn one towards the end of the race. It did look really nice though with the shadows and the sunset in a park setting.

lildave3 Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 Would it look nicer with a F1 car whirling around in the air?? You been on them drugs again Foxy?
Asha Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 Would it look nicer with a F1 car whirling around in the air?? I don't understand that at all, but
StanSP Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 Okay maybe I didn't make that at clear as I wanted to. It sounded better in my head . Basically, Walkers said all the shadows and sunset was nice. And Nico Rosberg said about how the sunset can affect drivers. And so I said about the whirling F1 cars - as in crashing and being dangerous - just because there is a lovely sunset. Lovely sunset and shadows > Safety of drivers is what I got from reading Walkers statement... Hopefully that clears things up
isaidno Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 The sun was a problem to be honest, you could see the shadows lenghtening & the sun must have been in the drivers eyes. I've got to try & find somewhere to watch this on Sunday, I think it starts at 7pm in Oz
