I love your piccies Nathko Darkervic, but I just feel they're a bit to 'Photoshopped' I'm more of a wysiwyg kinda guy (maybe because I don't have the skills!!).

Still nice though... I just wish i'd have had my digital camera for my Barcelona trip... :(

Cheers mate.

I am only experimenting though and most of the photos you see are tweaked for the learning process of photoshop.

I do actually shoot normal photos by the way. I just prefer to make a image different and break the rules. lol

I shot over 1000 frames on a couple of memory cards whilst in Barca. I was shooting all sorts. I was driving the missus mad but she knows how much I am enjoying my Photography and accepts it now.

I know how you feel... I can take over 200 just going to the Zoo for a few hours!! Still not got a posh camera... maybe when the litt'un is born (can convince her I need a good'un to do proper pictures!!)

lol it is very addictive. Yeah when the time is right get yourself a standard SLR they are pretty cheap, mine is decent for a starter camera but I really want the Sony A900. Long way off that.

(Best of luck with the litt'un by the way)

A few of my own "sun" effected photos

This is Snowdon.

Some old ruin in Shropshire.

River Ness at Sunset.

This is a photo I took on my old optical SLR camera that I have scanned - and lost much of the quality in the process, but I like the composition. It's my brother at Botallack Mine.

Lastly, another scanned one (hence quality) but the full moon through the branches of the tree opposite my house one winter's night.

Good shots but the bin kind of ruins the bottom shot for me. Cool scene though.

I think you'll find it's a classic example of post-modern irony!

I'm thinking of doing some kind of photography project. Like a photo every day for 3 months or something. Then later on maybe a year. But I don't really know where to start...

took the Nikon out last night as it is so nice down by the dock where I live. Got some good photos but the best of them are as follows:

People usually do their faces. Or maybe leave your camera on the edge of the window and take a picture at the same time every day. Or at specific time periods (9am, 12pm, 3pm etc...) and then do a time lapse thing?

This is my favourite photo - I took it out of the window on the way to Egypt a couple of years ago. The bottom bit is the Sahara.

I had it blown up to A1 on canvas for my livingroom - it's looks amazing!

Yeh, seems a bit too obvious though. Still hoping to do it. Might do it from my birthday.
