clazkel Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Stoke away. I'd like Stoke aswell, would make my day if we went to Stoke and stuffed them (positive thinking i know)
CosbehFox Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 No.7 for them could stroke a ball around. Superb set-piece taker. The way he hits corners from one side with the outside of boot was incredible.
Daggers Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Sorry? Were we meant to be taking this seriously? It was a crap, cold pre-season friendly: Pedestrian and predictable. **** me if we don't get three times more people wanting tickets for the next round. I'm sure they'll all enjoy doing a twat dance to Chelsea Dagger as much as the cunts today. Have a look at yourselves - you look fucking stupid.

I contemplated doing the dance just to keep warm but decided that letting my nuts fall off and contracting frost bite was better than looking like a half paralysed retard having a mild epileptic fit.
davieG Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I see the D & R fans joined in the LCFC celebration spectacular.

lildave3 Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Yep. There was loads of them out today! I booed. I stood in silence with my head bowed. That was mainly because Fryatt kept scoring though
clazkel Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I stood in silence with my head bowed. That was mainly because Fryatt kept scoring though Are you still not a Fryatt fan? You must be changing your mind by now

Sods Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I stood in silence with my head bowed. That was mainly because Fryatt kept scoring though You didn't look impressed when I turned around after the third! The Chelsea Cringe really is starting to do my head in.

Daggers Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I see the D & R fans joined in the LCFC celebration spectacular. En masse. For each and every goal. Someone, sometime, has to put a stop to this humiliation.
Sods Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I really wasn't Happy birthday btw Cheers buddy! Hopefully its a good one.
Thracian Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 "King especially looked totally lost." King got smothered. They'd have been warned by Rob Kelly and Tom Tejan-Sie that if you allow Kingy time and space to spray passes about he can hurt you so they stopped him getting time and they stopped him turning. They were right on Dyer too and, with Adams hardly making himself available, Edworthy seriously up against it and making no serious attempt to get involved as an attacking force King couldn't get in the game and, when he did, he had no options. The support he got was next to nil. Why people keep singing the praises of Edworthy I don't know. He offers nothing like Gilbert going forward and our team has suffered in loss of momentum because of it. Adams too offers very little defensively. But going back to out been outnumbered in central midfield we really must have plan B. Dagenham were one of the few teams this season who have played a high lines and attacked us. Any two people you could name from our squad would have had trouble in the centre of midfield because Dagenham crowded the place. Seems to me we have two sensible options at the moment. Play 4-3-3 or go with 4-5-1. Because our back line is far too slow to provide support high enough or fast enough for us to enjoy the luxury of two in midfield. Our team needs so much more movement than it's got right now.
Hullfox Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Why people keep singing the praises of Edworthy I don't know.He offers nothing like Gilbert going forward and our team has suffered in loss of momentum because of it. It was a cracking ball he delivered to Fryatt for the winner.
carterfox90 Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 it really is laughable i hope dag & red are happy with there little payout when they could have had more by keeping ticket prices low & the attendance up
Thracian Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 It was a cracking ball he delivered to Fryatt for the winner. Are you trying to convince me of something?
syston_fox Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Are you trying to convince me of something? Just that maybe you should give credit where it's due sometimes when a player other than King produces a moment of magic. Many times we've read on here how King has had a bad game and you've brought up the fact that he had a hand in a goal to save himself from a poor performance rating. This time the boot is on the other foot and it was Edworthy who had a poor game but still set up a goal but that seems to have been overlooked by yourself. It just appears that there is a lack of consistancy in your reporting of certain players compared to others.

Steven Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Matty Fryatt was our one shining light. For me he scored a perfect 10 with his match-winning hat-trick his follow-up for a tap-in that might have given him four but for an offside decision and his timely demonstration of the predator's art.Eighteens goals three weeks before Christmas is some pace to set and today I saw him as a full three points or more above any other player apart from goalkeeper Martin. Isn't it nineteen.
Guest Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 The problem with Chelsea Dagwank and the away fans joining in is that some people cannot see it's a piss take, and genuinely think that it's really good that they join in as well. Seriously.
Hullfox Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Are you trying to convince me of something? Why on earth would anyone try and convince you of anything? As Syston says, just pointing out that not for the first time in the last couple of weeks a player who has a poor game produces a moment of brilliance that leads to a winning goal but because he isn't young and/or called King it's not noted by someone. Thats all. Thank you.
Kilworthfox Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Contract to Fryatt this week Pearson, do it! Boooooooooo
