Tilley Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Have we all heard the story of how i met him in an Essex nightclub? You, sir, are one lucky man.
Matt Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Alan Maybury – unattached Colchester have handed a trial to former Leicester and Leeds defender Alan Maybury. The 30-year-old ex-Republic of Ireland international has been training with the Us following a trial with Bristol City, and is in line to appear in this week's Essex Senior Cup tie against Romford at the Community Stadium. Maybury is currently without a club after his release by Leicester in May, having had a spell on loan with Aberdeen towards the end of last season.
bocadillo Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 No Spider. Is he still at AC Milan ? Spider doesn't qualify for inclusion in this list, his City appearances having been in the 1995/96 season.
wirralsimon Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Spider doesn't qualify for inclusion in this list, his City appearances having been in the 1995/96 season. He was on the bench against Pompey the other day.
southcoastfox Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 He was on the bench against Pompey the other day. When you look at that list how many of them did you think 'he looks like a good signing' only to be proved disasterously wrong. There's quite a few for me.
Koke Posted 9 December 2008 Posted 9 December 2008 We, as a club, must be the biggest footballing whore in the country. Players come and go as if we were a brothel.
Monk Posted 9 December 2008 Posted 9 December 2008 No idea how I missed this, sorry! Junior Lewis's status made me laugh. Good job they didn't list the rest of Tricky Trev's career else we could have overloaded the forum.
Lillehamring Posted 9 December 2008 Posted 9 December 2008 Lars-Gunnar Carlstrand - appears to have gone to Sweden to play for IF Elfsborg after which the trail goes dead. If any of our Swedish friends know better, please correct this can't say i've ever heard of him, but i can tell you that he left to play in drammen for Strømsgodset, looks like he went there before elfsborg, and then went back profile on VG Nett anyway, he is no longer listed on their roster, given that he would be 35, i'd guess he might have retired.
hajistic Posted 10 December 2008 Posted 10 December 2008 can't say i've ever heard of him, but i can tell you that he left to play in drammen for Strømsgodset, looks like he went there before elfsborg, and then went back profile on VG Nett anyway, he is no longer listed on their roster, given that he would be 35, i'd guess he might have retired. He was listed in the 97/98 squad http://www.footballsquads.co.uk/eng/1997-1...m/leicester.htm Don't think he ever played. I seem to remember him and another swedish fella being on loan for a couple of weeks
Joe. Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 http://www.leicester.vitalfootball.co.uk/a...le.asp?a=134876 Just thought I'd stick this up on Vital. Basically just picked off some names from the original list and put them into a bit more detail. Enjoy

Basically just picked off some names from the original list and put them into a bit more detail. Enjoy You said Mike Whitlow signed from Leeds in 1997 when he actually signed in 1992. 1997 was when he left. Otherwise very good
The People's Hero Posted 12 December 2008 Posted 12 December 2008 Mike Whitlow! He had a left foot like a fu cking jackhammer.

Fox92 Posted 28 July 2009 Posted 28 July 2009 Lee Morris has just signed a one-year deal with Hereford Town.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ted/8170644.stm Good luck to him. Another very talented footballer, more so when he was at Derby, that has been pulled back because of his severe injuries. There are a lot of quality and talented footballers that have been stopped via injury with Lee Morris being one of them. Jamie Redknapp another, Michael Bridges and even James Weselowski.
