Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Mine was Tommy Wright the first. Southend away? Bang, 2-1 in the sun, lovely. Dribbling down the wing next to the white wall in front of the old Main Stand? He never believed in the existence of the humble comb. He probably wasn't even that good but I was only 6 and he ran quicker than everyone else. What a player. It always baffled me as a child that he never went on to bigger and better things. He ran quick! Why weren't Man United interested?
lildave3 Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Bloody hell, Fez is on a spree! Heskey, Heskey, Heskey.

Im loving this Fez I absolutely loved Scotty Taylor. He was another, like Tommy Wright, who seemed to disappear off the face of the earth.
ousefox Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Has to be Muzzy Izzet for me. We have never had anybody like him since he left
Cobbo Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 David Kelly. Later to haunt me for Wolves and Tranmere and many more.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 December 2008 Author Posted 4 December 2008 Im loving this Fez I'm going out now, just wanted something to read when I get home.
RowlattsFox Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Steve Walsh for me, mainly because he played in my position. Steve Thompson and Garry Parker as well.
syston_fox Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 First favourite Leicester player - Kasey Keller - just for that green and black keepers shirt. First favourite footballer though was probably Eric Cantona
act smiley Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Pontus Kåmark. Of course, being 9 I didn't actually know how to pronounce his name properly, so when the chance came to jump on the Steve Guppy bandwagon the following season, I did
potter3 Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Muzzy, even before I knewwhat a player he was I just liked the name

Ironically they beat us in the final the next year!!! mine was andy lockhead--think he scored a hat trick against villa or southampton in one of the cups in a night game-bit vague but i was only young) I think it was 4th round repaly at Filbert St v Man City we won 4-3 but we had been 3-1 down. 39000 plus I was there with my dad and it was probably one of the best games I've seen.
