Oh, smooth, definitely. Don't want those crunchy bits getting stuck in hard-to-reach places. >_<:P

I've never smeared peanut butter into my hard to reach places.

That's because the food would rot before anybody could hire the industrial equipment required to excavate it.

either that or get one of the java chat clients that connects to a true IRC server, that would also offload some of the bandwidth aswell.. plus can have usual IRC stuff like chan operators to help keep out the WUM's :)

Can't you do that in the match threads? The main reason I installed live chat was to try and save the server blowing up on matchdays. I've upgraded servers for this season so it should cope with everyone viewing and posting in the match threads.. it's also another yearly expense I have to pay.

Cheers Mark, please dont think i am complaining, i certainly appreciate the forum and the opportunity it offers in keeping me in touch with the club.

I'll happily install chat back onto the forums if someone fancies donating the £20 which will pay for the 50 member limit chat I used last season. That'll last the season. (bandwidth isn't an issue, but all these costs add up)

try having a look at mibbit, its one my clan uses for chat :) or something like irc2go

you could just point the chat button toa link to login to efnets irc server, but try using the irc2go dalnet section as dalnet comes with things like channel services so you can mark users as auto-operators and other such stuff

or maybe even look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PJIRC
