BedsFox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I hope he doesn't go (but assume Mowbray wants a replacement for Ishmael Miller, quick, hence the over inflated suggested fee) but on the assumption he does, perm one from Hayes at S****horpe Ibhere at Walsall Either of the Posh front two, probably unattainable Lambert O'Connor at Birmingham (whoever is the odd man out at Birmingham in fact)

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Bring back Barry Hayles from Cheltenham - he seems to be a goal machine there!
NewquayFox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Ward from Chesterfield and while there put a bid in for Lowry, good strong attacking midfielder. ;0)
Saladin Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 the return of the Akinbiyi may be upon us.. LMAO Has it come to that already?!
maddog Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 We could just stick with what we have. If Dickov, DJ and Chambers get match fit either one of them alongside Howard can score goals given the chance. And bring back Hayles as a back up hes scoring at Cheltenham. We may not need to sign a new striker. If we do sign a new striker id be looking for a Howard replacement just incase he gets injured, we have enough Fryatt replacements at the club already, between them they could score as many goals i rekon. Dickov needs to get games and match fit, he would score just as many as Fryatt in this league.
Tilley Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 maddog, if Fryatt goes, he will need replacing. Just wish he would sign, or at least make a decision of some sort.
Sparky Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Ricky Lambert would be my pick , it would have been James Brown but for his long term injury . Even better would be an extended contract for Fryatt
Big Ol' Bob Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Freddie Sears from West Ham on loan till the end of the season.
Rich Fox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I think Gary mc sheffery from Birmingham would be agood shout he was quality at cov and scored a lot of goals maybe hes more of a winger though, if fyatt goes to Birmingham get mc sheffery in.

dan_84 Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Lee Hughes from Oldham. Has a £400,000 buy out clause in his contract. He knows the division so would take time to adapt and has also scored goals at a higher standard.
