GLC Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Nothing against the Beatles and 'Hey Jude' and the Fratillas both bloody good bands. But one's scousers from the 60s and t'other are Scottish. If we do have to have warm up or goal music how about looking a bit closer to home? I know its been dabbled with with before but with Kasabian giving Oasis a run for their money and being Leicester fans seems a bit more suitable. we have had this topic brought up over and over again, most people will agree with you,
lavrentis Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Argh, its utterly ridiculous and for people to like it annoys the hell out of me.
AoWW Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 That good? Yes! So good, in fact, you should hear it yourself. I know you'd be impressed.
Samilktray Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Yes! So good, in fact, you should hear it yourself. I know you'd be impressed. Keep trying.
Cat Burger Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Perhaps they have listen to the argument about our traditions, in that respect it is a step in the right direction at least.
stez Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 it made me ROFL (harris) © cat burger when i first heard it, but i like it! and if they MUST have cheslea dagger, then a smoother transition would be better
Big Al Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 I didnt and still dont see why it needed to be changed, it should of been keep the same as it was at filbo. When running out some one playing the horn {in the center circle} When we score play the post horn gallop {NON REMIX} At filbo it was quality, and i personally can not see any arguements against that.
big-concern Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Don't want bloody music full stop. if i wanted tunes i'd go to a concert. it wasn't needed when we were tearing up the terraces. back in the 80's...

It was quality, but the club obviously feel that now the stadium is much more family-friendly and want to attract youngsters to the matches. To be honest the goal music fits what the club has become- soulless, lacking a real place you can call home and playing crap music that isn't needed.
Vestan Pance Posted 31 December 2008 Posted 31 December 2008 I am now looking on Chelsea Dagger as being a bonus, not only have we scored a goal but I get to sit down and watch 15,000 odd people dancing around like twats.
Ultra Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 It was quality, but the club obviously feel that now the stadium is much more family-friendly and want to attract youngsters to the matches. To be honest the goal music fits what the club has become- soulless, lacking a real place you can call home and playing crap music that isn't needed. The soul could return, if we reach the Premier League. And by that time, Chelsea Dagger will sound even more dated than it does now.
davieG Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 I can't get enough of it. But we weren't talking about your signature. Brown should bring in a law to ban goal music!

demon_dog Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 The goal music is a disgrace. Did you see the Hereford fans bouncing around to it when we scored. FFS it's supposed to be a celebration of our Goal, NOT a blooby love in with the opposition fans. Let's either have the goal horn or preferably NO music at all. Then we can hopefully see the opposition supporters looking bloody miserable.
Corky Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Absolute crock of shite. Perfect for Radio, not needed in the stadium.
