Just a fantastic night.

I was at the barrier and the sound was unreal. I saw Eminem there in 2013 and was in the seats and the sound was abysmal. I was talking to one of their touring crew before the show and he was saying how there had been similar complaints about Guns N Roses earlier in the week.

 

Its just reverb and delay doing its thing if you ask me.

I just think sound checking an empty stadium becomes something different to when 80000 people are inside.

Not music, but just picked up a pair of tickets for Ricky Gervais in Brum after failing miserably last week. Looks like they’ve released a few hundred extra seats on the Utilita website.

Will be rammed as all are near the stadium but Tiny Rebel, City Arms, Queens Vaults, Old Arcade were great when we went.

Got over it, but this morning I decided to try and get some on the resale market. Saw a bargain of £269 for a front standing ticket for Heaton Park. Went to buy it and suddenly it was £401!! Pissing fees are a joke.

 The whole process has been a joke hasn't it, it has left a bit of a sour taste I must say, although will be forgotten when they come out. My brother in law luckily got one for me long after I'd given up and for face value.

I just missed 2 on Twickets for Wembley Standing on the Wednesday. These cannot be being bought by genuine fans.

Gave up my ticket for Oasis next week.
 

Decided my anxiety, being surrounded by Wonderwall Warriors and men like me frowning upon the youngsters who “weren’t there” before was all too much.

 

Went to three gigs last year of bands I’ve loved for years and regretted every single one. 
 

I’ve a shed full of oasis memories and nothing will top that, hope everyone going has a blast.

Damn,,,, I would’ve taken it off your hands. I’ve only seen them once and it was full of scumbags, but it sounds like you have a lot of a good memories.

The gigs got full on lads lads lads after 2000 when the “so sally can wait” crew grew and grew. I couldn’t be amongst that now, it was bad enough then.

I’ve tried Ticketmaster, but because I wasn’t ever given a presale code etc, I can’t access them. If you happen to have a spare one, I’d be very grateful of a DM.

 

The last time I went was around 2002-2003. There were late teen lads with bloody razor blades, trying to use them to help get to the front. Awful night.
