Andy Murray is the fav still to win it :o:blink:

Don't think he will win it but should at least make the quarters.

Us Aussies have no one that will make it past the second

Federer's arrogance is annoying me now. I'd love it if he got knocked out by Murray, it would shut him up until the next tournament at least.

What happened to Leighton hewit socceroo :) Didn't he use to be quite good?!

I think Murray will win it. He's shown up Nadal and Federer enough times to warrant it. Isn't this his preferred style of court.

Been injured for the last 2 years and hadn't played since the US open.

He will be back in the top 20 if his stays fit but he isn't a top 10 player anymore

It's fairly obvious why Murray is almost favourite to win the tournament, in his last 8 meetings with the top 3 he's won 7 no? Don't understand why the top players (Federer especially) are getting so precious about it.

The big boys are getting annoyed that someone else is breaking through.

I don't think Murray will win it, or a grand slam this year, but he's earned the right to be favourite for this tournament, as he's the most in-form seeded player in tennis at the minute.

He'll win more Career titles than moody Djokvic will.

He plays without fear. I for one am really pleased to see how well he's turned his career around. + He has won me lots of money in the last 6 months. :)

:crylaugh: Are you joking?? And moody??? What's Bland Murray then??

Djokovic is well underrated and all he has to get further than Federer in this tournament to become World no.2.

There is more chance in Djokovic catching Nadal than Murray catching Djokovic.

When did I ever say Murray wasn't a moody Cvnt? If you took time to look around the forum, you'll see I'm not a great fan of Murray.

Djokovic threw his toys out of the pram because someone other than him is favourite to win the tournament. Again, if you read you'll see I don't think Murray will win a Grand Slam this year. I also never said Djokovic was over-rated either.

Anyway, I'll let you carry on being the pathetic little boy you are, and in 10 or 15 years I'll look forward to coming back and saying "In your face"

Video of Serbian and Bosnian 'tennis hooligans' lobbing chairs at each other outside the Rob Laver court.

It is the third year running that the Australian Open has been marred by crowd trouble.

Last year police were forced to use pepper spray on a group of Greek supporters during a match between Chilean Fernando Gonzalez and Greece's Konstantinos Economidis.

And in 2007 violence erupted on the opening day of the tournament when Serbian and Croatian fans attacked each other with flagpoles, bottles and boots.

Whatever next?!?!!

Djokovic underrated? World no. 3 with only 1 Grand Slam victory to his name and he's underrated? There's more chance of Murray catching Nadal than Djokovic given recent results and performances!

Whatever Djokovic says, results speak louder than words. Murray's form is better than anyone else's going into the Australian Open so why shouldn't he be the bookies' favourite?

Federer is another one who's got the hump now that everyone's talking about Murray - you'd have thought he would have enough experience and be wise enough to just concentrate on his game.
