Samilktray Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 The guys an inspiration, who else wants to join me in paying homage to such a hero...
Tilley Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Why not? @ Gordon Brown comment. I read about that
Samilktray Posted 7 February 2009 Author Posted 7 February 2009 I wonder what sort of genius is going through his head in that picture. One wonders what it would be like to have such a fantastic mind.
Finnegan Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 I've got to be honest - and I don't care who I'm offending. What really, really, REALLY annoys me about "The Gordon Brown Comment" and others like it, are that the sort of idiot that really has a giggle over it are the sort of idiots that actually don't understand politics in the slightest. The sort of people that don't REALISE why Clarkson dislikes Brown, the sort of idiots that will go "lololol der prim minster is a nob lolol" just because some bigot on the telly tells him so. It's stupidity like this that causes us to breed generation after generation of Thracians.

Finnegan Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Lololol pepul r dum Fook it. I'm moving to Tibet to live up a hill and be wise.
Simi Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 the sort of idiots that will go "lololol der prim minster is a nob lolol" That is exactly what I did actually! I bow down to your superior knowledge of everything. I apologise for the state of the country.

Clarkson's dreadful and has been for years. If he ever slid down a hill in a tin bath to his doom, you can bet his dying words would be "I blame the tree-huggers and do-gooders, I mean FOR CRYING OUT LOUD..."
Samilktray Posted 7 February 2009 Author Posted 7 February 2009 Why are there people PMT'ing over him in an appreciation thread. Go and make a seperate thread to bitch about him in, its disrespectful. Boring people.
StanSP Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 What did people think of the comment when he was testing out lorries on top gear and he says: Change gear, kill a prostitute, change gear, kill another prosititute... Personally, found it quite funny, but I could understand why others wouldn't. Also loved the time when he put his bank details in the newspaper!

Yeah fantastic, you can be a lippy smart-arse. But when it all boils down to it, how much do you actually understand about politics? Or more importantly, how much do you actually WANT to understand? You're not going to (legally) be a child forever.

I'm not a ****ing dumb ass, I understand a small bit. I'm not claiming to know much. I'm not old enough to vote yet, but I do follow the goings on. I found the comment amusing, that's all. Sorry if you have a problem with that.
davieG Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 The modern disease - celebrity nonentity sycophancy.
Thracian Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 The guys an inspiration, who else wants to join me in paying homage to such a hero... Absolutely. The bloke's an antidote to all those who would willingly sacrifice free speech on the altar of their determination to control the minds and actions of all of us by watching, listening and systemising like the proverbial Big Brother. Expect the Lefties to launch a similar tribute to Harriet Harman for her wondrous contribution to non discrimination(!), Lord Hoon (for his efforts on behalf of the snow chains industry) and Peter His Lordshit Mandelson for his peristence in showing that sleeze needn't be a barrier to success in the Labour Party but seems, in fact, to be increasingly part of the requirements.

No idea what this means Thracian. But I love it.
Simi Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Come on Finners, post your essay, I'm off out soon!
Thracian Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Fook it. I'm moving to Tibet to live up a hill and be wise. Good move. Cos if you think I'm racist, you've sure got a lot of wising up to do.
Thracian Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 It's stupidity like this that causes us to breed generation after generation of Thracians. I've no idea what you have actually achieved in your life that allows you to feel so smug and superior. I can well imagine you've read so much political theory that it's aggled your mind but who knows. Perhaps I will yet be able to watch you on television and be impressed by your enlightening theories but I'd doubt it from what you've said so far. You mock the Thracians of this world whatever they are and whatever you know of them. And in truth there's much for you to improve on in the great scheme of things so you've got a chance. But at this time when our country is in deep shit courtesy of the sort of shits you approve of, I have two youngish sons who work all hours taking the responsibility for keeping others in jobs. How many people do you provide the work for to sustain salaries of £25-£50,000 a year plus? How many four figure donations a year do you give to the Air Ambulance, just for starters? How many kids football teams do you sponsor? Maybe there should be more Thracians, not less.
