O dear, or dear, o dear, o no o god noooooooo noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

That is the worst post i have ever seen someone else apart from me write :P

Indeed.

How people can boo a team that is 11 points clear at the top of any division, regardless of whether they come on the cheap or are there every week is beyond me.

The booers are idiots, but its not about the table, its about the performance match by match.

Yes we are top well done to the lads and manager, but yesterdays performance was just no where near good enough.

Such a shame that the game against Oldham was on Sky with cheap tickets and not the Huddersfield, Leyton Orient, P'boro, Walsall, Northampton, Carlisle, etc.

Theres been a lot of quality entertaining games where we have played snippets of football like the best and passed it around like Brazil.

Only a few passes though, but thats good enough for me

And some of those games ive said were away games so why would they offer cheap tickets from the Merc for away games

Where's Milan when you need him to tell these gimps to go to the pub.

:crylaugh:

Wheres Millan been all season :dunno:

That was an error though, the attendence was down the game after he said that :P

There's no reason why we shouldn't have had it, except for the fact that too many players bottled out against a team willing to spoil and scrap.

Sorry you simply can't generalise like that. Many of the diehards were as pissed off as I was about the performance. They've earned the right to speak out and I for one have no problem with them doing so.

You can big up Oldham as much as you want. The fact is they're a bunch of has-beens and nonentities who will be lucky to make the top six. In terms of footballing ability, I wouldn't put them in the same class as Huddersfield, Peterborough or Franchise. But they were physically tough and difficult to break down - exactly the type of team that has caused us problems in this and previous seasons.

It's also clear that many of our players do not have the physical or mental strength to cope with a run of five games in 14 days. Pearson needs to start rotating the side a little more. Otherwise when the next run comes (between the trips to Franchise and Millwall) we will struggle.

Yeah, let's have a cull of all the "disloyal" supporters, shall we? Isn't it better to have a pure fanbase than a large one? Let the happy-clappies make up the £20m debt...

Come on fella. Our 0-0 was little to do with Oldham. We had a goal disallowed, hit the inside of a post, missed a penalty and had another seemingly unmissable chance blocked by the substitute keeper.

Tough, rugged Oldham might have lost by a couple even if they'd been given that penalty they should have had.

There's no escaping that, in milk terms, we were more than a little "off" but it wasn't so long ago people ere talking about winning at home and drawing away.

Seems we're just varying the theme right now and winning away and drawing at home. Perhaps the players like the away support better and who can blame em? :D

Serious shit to me is when you go out for a few hours fun in the snow and lose your life running the gauntlet with a barbed wire fence. Drawing 0-0 in a football match just pisses you off until the jokes start flowing in the Swan.

Grade twat, shut up! Bet you booed as well because we didn't win 10-0! Unbeaten in 17 league games, just an off day!

Had time to relect...been watching city home and away for 35 years...we were crap...worse peformance I have ever seen!

No it wasn't.

Unless you have watch 4 games in 35 years?

Ridiculous.

I looked at the league table from last season this afternoon, if we win 4 games. We'll have the same amount of points as 3rd position did.

Swansea had 61 at this point from 30 games too....

I don't know why you are saying it was the worst performance you have ever seen, it wasn't, weren't you at Brighton away (2nd half), and did you watch many of our performances last season

I actually didn't think we played too bad, we just didn't take advantage of the situation, but still got a point, which is decent.

Don't give a feck what you or anyone else on here think or posts or however witty or informed or abusive those remarks are I'm entitled to my opinion and absolutely nothing will change that...we were rubbish!

jesus christ, only read 1st 2 pages and gave up

re:

fryatt = donkey, 25 goals so far says not. hume missed the most crucial pen in lcfc history when we were 2-1 down to wednesday at home, if it goes in maybe we get the point needed to eventually stay up, maybe we go on and score another and definitely stayed up or maybe we lose 3-2 anyway and it doesn't matter but i don't remember him being slated like fryatt has. fryatt has been our only hope this season in parts, without the 25 goals where would we be?

players not caring = oakley had a 'mare yesterday as did a few others like dyer and to some extent gilbert. but who doesn't have an off day? just because the games on t.v we are highlighting it more.

oldham = at first they came at us and played better, then we had our spell and couldnt convert half chances but after they had goalie sent off they put a lardy striker in goal and it didnt change the game, they still had there first choice team on pitch and were still able to defend without disruption, it should have changed the game but it didn't. be grateful their 3 chances in the last 10/15 didnt go in!!!! it could be worse

end of the day = we are still 11 pts clear, mk dons / millwall / pboro / scunny and oldham have a big job to catch us. don't worry about it, the more we get on the players backs the worse it will go. we need to stay behind the team and keep aiming high.

edit : Worst performance = many games against burnley, brighton away 2nd half, losing 5-0 at home to villa / bolton, wycombe wanderers. its been bad and saturday was nowhere near as bad as the above.

sorry if this doesn't make much sense, very tired!!!

Yes, we were.

Worst you've ever seen? How many games have you watched? There was plenty worse last season and seasons previous.

We did not play well, yet we kept a clean sheet and got another point. Top of the league. Shameful? Shocking. It's comments like that that really get up my nose. Step back and realise what the CURRENT team and coaching staff have done here.

We are not born with the right to beat teams.

I think most fans are frustrated that we didn't take advantage of playing against 10 man Oldham + Windass in goal but the stats (although not great) support the fact that this was not the worse performance for 35 years! The stats don't support worst performance......

Coca-Cola Football League One

For example, watching Charlton V LCFC last year was one of the worst I've seen for a long while! At least yesterday, we had shots on goal & could have won......

Oh well, at least we're still TOP OF THE LEAGUE..... :chant:

Well, I've been watching City for nigh on fifteen years and it was nowhere near the worst performance I've ever seen. Come on chap, swallow your pride, admit you were a bit reactionary and over the top and admit you're wrong.

Damn right. St Mary's is the home of bad performances. I hate the place.

Battling 2-1 win at Northampton

Brilliant 4-1 battering of Walsall.

A 0-0 against 10 men and the boo boys come out. Clearly they are only aware of home games or something! Get some perspective!

I cant beleive some of the posts in this thread? What are you so called fans on?!!! Look at our league position, look at how many goals Fryatt has scored and if it wasn't for him and the hard work from the other players, including Howard, we wouldnt be in this position! I understand your frustrations about not beating 10 men with Windass in goal but come on, these things happen, its football. It wasn't like we lost the game!! We are still unbeaten and we can still keep up the momentum. I can't understand why you are so beat up about it all and you have to boo the players and have a go at them! If anything we should be praising them for their hard work so far and giving them confidence for the next few games. They will be pissed off more about these idiot fans that boo and they might as well think what is the point if the fans don't give shit.

We have to move on from this game and think about the next and keep going until the last game of the season!

You boo boys need to grow up and think about things in perspective sometimes!

Just watched the worst display of football ever from a Leicester City side,no excuses Oldham are a league one side down to 10 men with no goalkeeper....disgusted!

Are you having a laugh?

We are top of the league by 11 points. Playing some great stuff.

I take it you haven't been to many games this season. People like you are complete morons, please just go and support another team who wins every game they play in. oh yeah i forgot nobody does that....

Someone stole my thunder.. dammit.

Seriously, it's not that bad, watching some of the Oldham tackling and tactics, they came to put a game up and rough us a lttle. Some heavy tackling first half, not always needed either.

For some reason I just knew we weren't going to score when Windass went in goal. You just knew the daft old git would raise his game. I say fair play to Oldham, ok we looked ropey and didn't put the chances away. But for crying out loud.. we're top.. by a mile.. Chill.

I mentioned this thread to a number of work colleagues who support teams ranging from the top of the Premiership down to non-league football. Most would love to be 11 points clear at the top of the table at the beginning of February.

Can we create a sub-section LCFC forum especially for the moaners, boo boys and people that think the team/performances are a disgrace?

Please.
