As they are both under 16, what kind of punishment do you think they will get? Do you think that the criminal justice system will "learn them"? Do you think that the courts will be happy to see a baby growing up without its parents, regardless of their age? Surely the answer is in better education, not the criminal justice system. Sex education in this country is woefully inadequate and the proof of that lies in the fact that we have the highest underage pregnancy rate in Western Europe.
