Definitely, especially with their surprising lack of goals at the moment. I like rubin, said at the start they would cause a few shocks. I would be very happy if barca drew tomorrow.
lildave3 Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 I would be very happy if barca drew tomorrow. Nothing like aiming high.
dandannieldanok Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Barca will struggle tomorrow. CSKA and Rubin Kazan have pulled off shocks now against the two best teams on the planet. You can't call that Man Utd team one of the best on the planet for crying out loud!
maddog Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 You can't call that Man Utd team one of the best on the planet for crying out loud! You can't call Real Madrid that either. They lost 4-0 to a village team I bet the third tier in Spain is much lower standard than League One too. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8329227.stm
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 You can't call that Man Utd team one of the best on the planet for crying out loud! I wasn't saying this team, I'm saying over the last season. Even so, the majority of people wouldn't have expected this tonight, regardless of their current team and form.
AjcW Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Nothing like aiming high. absolutely. Im sure you would be the first to accept a draw if fener had a tough game.
JimmyK Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Did they ever come to a conclusion as to why Pato's goal was disallowed in the Milan-Madrid game? Hell of a strike.
leicesterfox86 Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 This football blogger rounds up tonight's Champions League action, typical United getting a late draw! I must say that I can't see them winning the whole thing this year though. They miss the wow factor of previous years. Chelsea have the best chance they have had for years though. They have the right manager, Drogba in the best form of his life and players like Joe Cole really hungry to achieve.

He's a master at bringing his team to the boil at just the right time.

Yeah, but CSKA pulled off a 'shock' against that team and that team only, not the Manchester United that reached the Champions League final and won last year's premier league.
samlcfc Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Did they ever come to a conclusion as to why Pato's goal was disallowed in the Milan-Madrid game? Hell of a strike. I heard it was for a foul on the player marking him from ssn. To me it just looked like he outmuscled him whilst they ran together. Thought it was a brilliant goal.

Fox You Forest Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Looking forward to watching Liverpool lose tonight.

Head Honcho Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Liverpool 3-1 at 33/1 Sevilla 4-1 at 20/1 Arsenal 3-1 at 11/1 Standard Liege 2-2 at 14/1 20p lucky 15
AjcW Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 at the barca players in massive puffer jackets and in stroles puyol in a tshirt and a hoody!
AjcW Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Well thats possibly the worst first half of football I have seen this season Even Pep is bored.
Koke Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Liverpool 3-1 at 33/1Sevilla 4-1 at 20/1 Arsenal 3-1 at 11/1 Standard Liege 2-2 at 14/1 20p lucky 15 Arsenal will let you down. They always fucking let me down those soft southern bastards. And I just hope Liverpool get dicked tonight.
AjcW Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Well that was utter crap. Barca need to get back on form quick. Im not happy. Credit to Rubin. Fantastic defensive performance, probably deserved to grab a winner.
Joe. Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Great result for Rubin once again, although I'm still tipping Barca to win it again this year. As for Liverpool I hope they can pull a result out tonight, I don't particularly want to see them leave the competition at this stage. Probably my favourite English team in the Champions League anyway, so I wouldn't mind seeing them win it. On current form though that's looking incredibly unlikely. Standard win for Arsenal. 2-0.
Darkzzz_ Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Well that was utter crap. Barca need to get back on form quick. Im not happy.Credit to Rubin. Fantastic defensive performance, probably deserved to grab a winner. Bang on. I have nothing but praise for them.
AjcW Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I hope Barca and Rubin go through now. But if Inter and Rubin go through I would have no complaints as they restricted barca to one point instead of their expected 6 over the two games. Im glad I put a bit of money on rubin in the summer now.
