Fosse Boy Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 I'd like to think our little meeting with Inter ultras in Leicester Square yesterday afternoon is probably what spurred their team on to victory.
Super_horns Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Barca make this football lark look so simple.. Stuttgart have't done that badly... Just been done by two moments of magic.
Edmund Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Great start for Barca, what a goal from Messi. Am I the only one getting bored of people comparing Messi with Rooney and also with Ronaldo? In my opinion their all world class players but all have different qualities about them which are incomparable.
fatmando Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Yeah but who would you have if you could only have 1?
StanSP Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Yeah but who would you have if you could only have 1? Messi. And what's Xavi's injury (if not a suspension) ?
dandannieldanok Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Yeah but who would you have if you could only have 1? Rooney personally. All great players but when the chips are down you know this guy will never ever give up. Phenomenal work-rate.
purpleronnie Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Hopefully they'll win it. Love watching them, its like watching perfection.
StanSP Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Barca were simply flawless today. Really turned the tempo up when they scored and cruised for the rest of the match. Happy for Bojan to get his goal. Looked like it meant a lot to him. Obviously Messi shone with his goals and attacking play, but I thought Toure deputised for Xavi well; Pedro and Maxwell having good games too. Hope they can get Man Utd in quarters and do them over again.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 March 2010 Posted 18 March 2010 For those of us who met the Inter fans in Leicester Square on Tuesday. Fantastic work from the other side of L'Alleanza at the Bridge.
Darkzzz_ Posted 18 March 2010 Posted 18 March 2010 Must have been the loudest Stamford Bridge has been in a while, like a library down there.
purpleronnie Posted 18 March 2010 Posted 18 March 2010 For those of us who met the Inter fans in Leicester Square on Tuesday. Fantastic work from the other side of L'Alleanza at the Bridge. Love how they don't just stand next to their seats they all seem to group together. Love that kind of unity, bet the chelsea fans didn't understand what was happening.
fatmando Posted 18 March 2010 Posted 18 March 2010 I too would have Messi or Rooney over Ronaldo. I couldn't choose between Messi and Rooney right now tho.
Uncle Albert Posted 19 March 2010 Author Posted 19 March 2010 I too would have Messi or Rooney over Ronaldo. Yeah any idiot wouldn't havent Ronaldo, not like the lad has scored 22 in 23 goals for Real this season.
Wycombe Fox Posted 19 March 2010 Posted 19 March 2010 Lyon v Bordeaux Bayern Munich v Man U Arsenal v Barcelona Inter Milan v CSKA Moscow Bayern or Man U v Lyon or Bordeaux Inter or CSKA Moscow v Arsenal or Barcelona
Darkzzz_ Posted 19 March 2010 Posted 19 March 2010 Very tough draw for Barcelona, if they are to win it they have to get past Arsenal then Inter and Manchester United (providing they all go through). Should be a fantastic round of football and United won't have it as easy as some are already saying.
Darkzzz_ Posted 19 March 2010 Posted 19 March 2010 Well. That's Man Utd in the final. Great... Looks like it but I wouldn't write Bayern off. True that they were very lucky to get past Fiorentina but they still have some quality in their side to hurt United. If it does become an all English final (which I hope it isn't) then it's United for me over Arsenal.
