Dylan Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 Ref had a shocker today. Can expect UEFA to appoint another shocking ref for the 2nd leg.
Mikey Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 Ref had a shocker today. Can expect UEFA to appoint another shocking ref for the 2nd leg. No he didn't. Controlled the game very well. Had 1 shocker of a decision though but that's it.
Bert Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 I don't know why people are bothered about Cech being injured, He let two goals in and Hilario didn't let any in.
Finnegan Posted 25 February 2010 Posted 25 February 2010 Well, yes it would. Alright, yes, clear exaggeration - but still. It was, as I admitted, a foul and a clear trip with the benefit of the TV. But if you're a ref and you've got to make that call at the original speed it happened and you're watching it whilst catching up with play because a great athlete like Kalou has gone sprinting off ahead? And he swans down to the floor looking like a complete muppet? Completely forgiven for not giving it, imo. Lineo might have had a better view of it from the side, perhaps. Regardless, I'm sticking by my point, Kalou's ridiculous overacting cost him.

As it was obvious even from the refs angle that Samuel got nowhere near the ball, he only had two choices, penalty or dive. But seeing as he gave neither, he clearly thinks Samuels challenge was fair.

Simi Posted 25 February 2010 Posted 25 February 2010 Terry played well again. Still hasn't got his head right.
purpleronnie Posted 25 February 2010 Posted 25 February 2010 Still hasn't got his head right. If true thats very odd.
StanSP Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Arsenal are all over Porto and fully deserve their 2-0 so far.
Fox You Forest Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 What a goal that is, been a cracking game this, helped by some shocking defending.
Anish Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Jovetic!!! GET IN - VIOLA 2, GAYERN 0!!! Nothing like counting your chickens eh?
MC Prussian Posted 10 March 2010 Posted 10 March 2010 Nothing like counting your chickens eh? Yeah, felt a little bit like a Forest fan. Very premature.<_<
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 March 2010 Posted 10 March 2010 Gutted for Viola as they deserved to go through over the two legs, great strike by Robben though. Madrid and United to go through tonight.

Darkzzz_ Posted 10 March 2010 Posted 10 March 2010 Klose's "goal" proved decisive, very unfortunate for Fiorentina. Sure did. Now they must concentrate on their poor league form, Bayern will get trounced in the next round.
