Corky Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Is anyone planning on becoming a new STH next season?
Katy Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Try renewing by email then you wont have to decide they'll just ignore you and the date will have passed! I have to go in though with proof of student status, but yes, I know they are busy but they do appear to 'ignore' emails sometimes. Won't you miss Chelsea Dagger? Come on you Foxes? The tannoy man?
charliefox Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Is anyone planning on becoming a new STH next season? Considered it, mainly just to get priority for next season, but I'm not gonna be able to get the money together by Sunday, and I don't wanna be paying over the odds after then. Add to that the actual enjoyability factor of going to the walkers, cost and time spent travelling there every week and it's looking like a no. I know I'll be kicking myself for not getting one next season though, like have done every season, when I'm paying out every week, and when I can't get tickets to the "big" aways, such as MK etc.
Scow Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 I'll be renewing tomorrow. I've had to go to all the trouble of obtaining a letter from uni in order to qualify for the U22 price. I do prefer away days, but I'd be gutted about missing home games, even if they are a bit shite at times. Some of you are clearly not drinking enough.
Raj Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 I'm still undecided and I'm supposed to be renewing tomorrow. Away games are far better than home on that we are all agreed. If I don't do it tomorrow then I won't do it at all, can't afford to. I wish someone could make the decision for me because I'm blowing hot and cold by the hour and it's driving me mad. Fecking club! I empathise with your situation(is empathise a word???) having had one for years i really do feel fcuked off with the way the club have lied about all this price freeze shite and early deadline shite(I might have mentioned it before!!!) But are we cutting off our...whatever that saying is about cutting your nose or whatever!! No matter how much hatred i have towards the club i feel i'll still be a cvnt and go down at the weekend and renew....if only to keep my seat on the fans forum and see more of Lisa!!! (er.....only joking Carl!!!) I've done it. BOO!!!! SCUM!!!!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 I'll be renewing tomorrow. Well, someone will be renewing for me - I'm FAR TOO IMPORTANT* to be queueing up like a pensioner for a bus pass or a government handout. We're moving to pastures new (probably the West Stand) so that's 5 more L1 seats up for grabs * I am not important at all

Glen_lcfc Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 At the end of the day to all of youwho thinking of not renewing you have to think about what you thoughts will be on approx august 3rd - pre season coming to an end - us in the championship - a few new signings - 1 or 2 making heads turn - and you are faced with paying £24-25 a game instead of £12.50 a game if you renew - it domt take a mathmatision (sp.) if you have any slight intention of renewing how annoyed will you be if you dont do it till 16/03/09 or after you have to do it pre 16/03/2009 or you lose out - theres deadline for everything out there in the UK so just do this one without fuss - you know you will anyway when we win league 1 by 8-10 points and win 7 out or 8 pre season games. as you can tell - my decision was never in doubt.......

For me (and i dare say many others) it's not a case of wanting to, or not wanting to. It's more a case of not having the money to do so while i'm still forking out money following the club across the country (amongst other things) in the present season. The deadline's too early for some people, simple as that.

If you're thinking of getting a new ST the price is the 5% higher one already, and I believe it stays that way until the end of April. And we don't have seats to lose. It's looking likely that I'll be getting one - with the 'parent and child' deal it works out considerably cheaper than buying individual match tickets and it's been far too frustrating waiting for away tickets to go on general sale. SK3 I reckon. But I wish they'd put the kop up the other end so the SK3 mob and the L1 mob could sit stand together and sing.

Shrenchel Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Not all of them. I do aways with having a season ticket and got jipped on a few league games in the championship. Yeah those fans won't be going to Ipswich but I'm they will be only to keen to go Forest, Derby etc. Should be better next season thought if a lot of ST away dayers aren't renewing.
Katy Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Ha well if the ticket office don't reply to my email today then they can stick their tickets up their arse It's like they read Foxes Talk or something....basically I have to go in and renew if I want student prices, why they can't accept me scanning the letter in and attaching it to an email I do not know. If I can be arsed I'll go and try my luck on Sunday, if not then I aint renewing.

Thank you for your email.Due to the very high demand from supporters wishing to renew or purchase season tickets, your email will be dealt with and replied to within the next 48 hours. If you are enquiring about tickts for any other matches an operator will answer your email as soon as possible Kind Regards LCFC Ticket Office

I'm not shelling out £400 just to get tickets to those two matches though If I can't get tickets for certain away games then so be it, I simply do what I am planning to do for most home games.
