iPod speaker docks

My recommendation is minimal simplicity with the focus on sound quality. They really do sound good in my bedroom. Even better plugged up my arse.
Agree with the sound quality point. Who cares how many features it has?

Your ipod has enough features as it is, all it needs to do is sound great.

From the reviews though it sounds as though the Logitech pips it with the sound as well. I wasn't really serious about that middle one, it just had a pretty light. Does the Klipsch one have an alarm? I didn't mention that in my first post but it would be useful.

I got one and it's absolutely gash... but then I got a Sony thing (free) which is like an MP3 machine itself, albeit not portable, the dock on that is great, loads of features and the speakers are great.

Logitech stuff tends to be pretty good in my opinion.

Do you have an existing stereo you could get an aftermarket dock for?

No it doesn't have an alarm.

Not that I need one, the dog comes in most mornings and I love to let him lick my lovepump.

Get the Klipsch iGroove SXT. I got one of these for xmas and it is a more than adequate sound system for your ipod. Never saw it in the shops but you can get it through Amazon for about £80.

That thing that looks like a cigar butt end is hideous and is it really worth about £400? Ridiculous.

Be very very careful which you buy if you have a itouch. Some docking systems will fry them.

My kids have these

they chuck out a good sound for such small speakers. They have there own rechargable battery built-in so you can take them anywhere. The function of the remote is a bit poor though.

Cheers for your help guys. Because I'm not made of money and it's only for my room the B&W is out the window (soon though, sooooon). It's between the Logitech and Klipsch, I'll just do my usual thing now of procrastinating and not buying it for a few weeks.

I have one of these. The newer version has a much better remote though, can use it on the menu etc
