One stand that's always impressed me in England is the Kop at Hillsborough. It's rarely full these days but on the odd occasion when Wednesday sell tickets, it looks and sounds immense. It's impressive because its kept a similar shape to when it was the biggest covered terrace in the U.K. It could have been easy for them to completely start again after the disaster, but theyve tried to keep it in line with this:

I fortunately get to go at least once a season and went to the Pompey game earlier in the season when they won 1-0 and for a midweek game it was still pretty impressive atmosphere wise. I am just wishing my old man would bottle it and let me have a Champions League ticket, can't see it happening anytime soon. He has said they will be some of the nights he will never forget, the game when Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalties in the semi-final is his favourite still. How anyone can possibly say its overrated then they should watch this video before the Juventus game in 2005. Electric. The music guys stop Gerry and the Pacemakers halfway through the tune because the fans are to loud to hear it.
