Fox in a Box Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 THERE’S still two months of this season to go but Loughborough Dynamo are already looking forward to pre-season and a match against Leicester City at the NSG. On Saturday July 11, Nigel Pearson’s men are sure to attract one of the biggest crowds seen for a football match in the town for some years as they begin their preparation for their probable return to the Coca Cola Championship. In previous seasons the Foxes have split their first and reserve teams in half and played two games at Leicestershire non-league clubs at the beginning of their pre-season. “We’re absolutely delighted,” Loughborough chairman Frank Fall said. “It’s a smashing fixtures and we already can’t wait.” http://www.loughboroughecho.net/loughborou...73871-23185565/

Corky Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 I know how you guys feel, Corky, Foxforever, i'm thinking there saving Dynamo Jalandhar for when we reach the premiership......so chin up guys!!! To think, Singhy, of all the lower-league tinpot clubs we've had as friendlies in the past- Barcelona, Inter Milan, Fiorentina, Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao, and they don't want to play Dynamo Jalandhar. Our club has let itself down, yet again
Thracian Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 :D Having started my time as a football coach and manager with Loughborough Dynamo Under 18's I can't miss this one.

Thracian Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Your an ex manager? Did you apply for the Leicester job last year at all? No. I was quite happy with the names in the frame in the end and really couldn't stand being employed by anyone now. But I did apply once in the 70's, I believe, before turning my attention to squash full-time.
MPH Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 I was hoping for Dynamo Jalandhar, Punjab's finest!!!! completly off topic, but i used to watch kabaddi on a saturday morning on channel 4. there was a beast called balvinder singh, i think his name was. i am sure he used to compete for the Punjab team.... was a few years ago... could be wrong...
Uncle Albert Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Loughborough Dynamo has the worst clubhouse and changing facilities in the world! Truely awful. No wonder they can afford to play players such a hefty sum, they have some decent players down Dynamo now. Chris Nurse re-signing for them aswell big player.

Know the manager - Chris Nurse's brother in goal used to be our caretaker at school. Got called Richard Cresswell a lot.
