The Doctor Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 OS says that record crowd for this season has already been surpased as far as tickets sold goes for leeds game but what do you think the attendence will be?
MC Prussian Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 They'll need to raise the roof for that one - 60'000. Plus a few gaffers on the rooftop.

leicesterseddon Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 ...our best attendance this season is just short of 24,000 - crap really when you consider we've been top for so long. to sell out we'd need to sell over 1000 tickets a day during the six remaining days. can't see it really - although if promotion can be achieved (looking bloody unlikely at the minute) on the day, it's possible. 28,500 methinks - would have been more but for sky/12.15 KO

MC Prussian Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 That's what the OS would call a "cracking atmosphere".
Ford Super Sunday Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 As I said in another thread... My Prediction... hmm, roughly 0-32,000 I might be right... just

Considering the somewhat fickle nature of a lot of our fans I think 24,000 is a bloody good crowd for a game in this division. In any case it's more than what quite a few clubs in the division above (or the even the top flight, what's Wigan's highest attendance of the season?) have attained this year.
Thracian Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I just wonder if the Leeds game might take the edge off our performance at Hereford. I hope not. But I'm also concerned about the thinness of our squad. If mainstream players get injured or worn out we really have so little in the way fit, fast or capable cover.
Uncle Albert Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Like someone above said I hope its not another Sheff Wednesday.

I'm really hoping milwall faulter, even a draw, this would take the edge of the leeds match, cus your right Thrac, we look thin, and at time's we look tired!!

Two games in three days is a tough ask given that we're not at full strength, but I suppose it's the same for every other club in this division. At least Leeds are playing on Saturday too instead of Good Friday.

Father Ted Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 29,000 mugs It will either add to the atmosphere or just drown it completely.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 29,000 mugs It will either add to the atmosphere or just drown it completely. Whatever the case, we are going to get outsung by leeds, especially after they smash in their first, second and third goals, and we have no response to it. An embarrassing day all round!

I'm going to try and move to L1 from the Kop for Leeds. Especially if we get some people around me who aren't willing to sing and stand. In fact, forget them, I'm on a one man mission to get the Kop in full voice.
leicesterseddon Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Leicester: 'You're not famous any more' Leeds (twice as loud): 'You aren't famous anyway' guarantee that will happen
