Finnegan Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Thread merging is probably the single most boring thing. Ever.
lavrentis Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Id like to thank Lavrentis for one of the more enjoyable nights on here on Sunday. Agree 'Milktray.Absolutely fantastic, took it all like a man, bloody brilliant. Lavrentis - Thank you It was quite unintentional the way it panned out.
The People's Hero Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I don't feel much fun today... Had a lot on my plate recently. It's probably just linked to a poor run of results when we'd gotten used to doing well. Last year we used this place as for humour etc as an escape from the rubbish on the pitch. This season, this poor run hurts as we all get a bit nervy... maybe it's linked to that. I doubt it's missing the ol' TPH magic anyway. I've been off form since a purple patch a few years ago. How's everyone doing anyway? Let's make something positive out of this thread. What were your new years resolutions? What have you done towards them so far, just over 3 months in?
Alexikokopops Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Had no idea that many posts were being deleted. I have noticed a lot of threads being merged recently and I appreciate that. It's a thankless job usually, and I appreciate it as it makes the forum readable. What kind of stuff are you deleting? I do think that whilst it is an open forum that we should put more controls over people joining? Not sure what though. Looking back at it there were about 70 posts deleted mainly from threads about three years old saying something along the lines of "YILEY" or "BEEP" between mainly three people (with a couple others piping up occasionally).

MC Prussian Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 The "having fun" disappeared as soon as some folks felt like replacing it by "posting crap on a regular basis". Sorry to come across as being grumpy, but some of the young 'uns aren't exactly making it easy these days.
