So we'll want them to win. As that would leave us 7 points clear of boro with 9 points to play for. But all we need to concentrate on is us beating leeds and everything else will take take of its self.

Asha Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 I'll admit I'm sort of hoping MK Dons win their game, meaning we don't get promoted on Monday. After the amazing season we've had, it just feels like we need to finish it off properly with our own result that will lead into absolutely crazy celebrations. If beating Leeds alone meant promotion, I'd be happy with that, but it's not. To hear we've been promoted on sky sports news or something would be a bit gay, nowhere near as special as it would be to do it at Southend.

lcfc_jme Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 I'd LOVE for us to win tomorrow, but still need a point or two to secure promotion - that'd be ideal for me seeing as Southend is going to be huge. Failing that, a draw tomorrow and draws for Posh + Dongs would be brilliant. Defeat for Dongs with us and Posh drawing is also nice. I can't even contemplate us losing tomorrow. I will not be on here at all if we do. It'll be torture.

Erm yeah I think, Maximum MK Dons can get is 90, We are on 89 so what you have said is right, and even if we lose 2 and manage to draw 1 we're up. 1 point - 3 games, sorted. Obviously we will probably want more than 1 point because we want to be champions. Gutted i'm not going Southend, might just e-mail them and put me on a list of returned tickets should they have any.
