Wayne Browns passing was shocking

Can anyone tell me if theres a site where you can find out the pass completion statistics? I'm happy we won but I can't remember Wayne Brown completing a pass today, it was shocking, we got away with it today because they were crap. But we'd be lucky to get away with it against Leeds.

Brown was fantastic today.

Yes, a few misplaced passes but made some very crucial tackles and was very strong at the back.

Disagree, made some decent tackles but his passing was pathetic, for an experienced centre back anyway.

How was his defending?

Fabulous is the answer. He headed one ball today - scared the striker to death. The ball went 50 yards to. Good lad.

lol

He completed more passes than you actually think. His main priority is to defend, and he did that pretty damn well today.

they were rarely dangerous, in your own half, mispasses though so they wouldn't have led to goals if we played Chelsea. They were attacking, curving balls into the corners, a lot of them didn't reach our player but earnt us a few attacking throw-ins. Agreed too many didn't do anything but conceed possession but his tackling made up for it.

His heading and organisation were worth the entrance fee alone.

I noticed his talking which was top notch and just what we need at the moment. He had a word with Max just before the third and Shazzam!, Gradel pulls off some skillage and it's all over.

Well tbh we're lucky we were playing someone rubbish, if he passes like that on Monday we are in deep shit.

Wayne Brown - for all of the criticism I've given to him prior to today - looked different class today. He looked a very, very tidy centre-half. Passing isn't his strong point, but if he dominates strikers every week like he did today, I can easily look past that.

Tight and organised defence today, no Kisnorbo again. Hmm...

It wasn't pretty - especially the one where it just needed a simple short ball and he hoofed it 80 yards into our end - but it wasn't always wasted. A shortcut to going back down next season maybe, but for now it'll do when its combined with being defensively monsterous.

Well when he got in a tackle then dribbled past someone explain what that random boot into nowhere was? My dad went absolutely mental lol

Mate - he's a defender.

He defends.

That is that.

Thing is you won't get away with needlessly hoofing it up to Fryatt and Howard, it wasn't just him it was the whole defence, Mattock was dire tbh, but look on the positives, we won, cracking day out and now i'm no longer dreading Monday :D

I think you are spot on there pal.

Admittedley, I didn't go to todays game, but reading the player ratings on this forum, Brown could well finish up MOM.

He would make a good captain, always shouting & helping the younger players.

Terrific 3 points, now do the same on Monday!!!

Think he's poor since he's been here, but he was an animal today. Seemed to win everything he went for, and seemed to be talking a fair bit too. To his keeper, and to the younger lads such as Max.

Well I just managed to pick out the amount of lazy option passes, but I hope he can work on it and could potentially be a captain for the future.

Wayne Brown? Well, you non footballer, more passes, less defending. You C U N T.

This thread perfectly sums up the mindset of many City fans.

Always looking to criticise even after decent results/performances!

Not a week goes by where one player or another isnt described as shocking or shit or passed it!

Does my head in.

Just be thankful we played Hereford today, and not someone like Leeds or we would of lost, but the attacking in the 2nd half was superb.
