Be fantastic to see our team presented with a trophy - it has been a while, it should just add to what is already going to be a good night which should turn the town into one great big party that night!! If you havent got tickets yet, I wouldnt leave it too long. I think this one might sell out!!

Topps Tiles will not be happy if we don't wear a kit with their name on therefore we will not wear next seasons kit against S****horpe.

He's right. but it will be shown i think its the whole point of this fox hunt the winner models the new kit against s****horpe.

I guess it depends on legalities though as they could turn around and make some bullcrap legal case out of it and say they have lost sales from not having the sponsor at a game with high attendance etc... It would be good if they did play with the shirt BUT as it stands, the club will only present the shirt at the game and the players will wear this seasons shirt. This may all change though...
The Doctor Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 with the whole new kit thing surely its no different to at the end of the 04-05 season where we wore the 05-06 kit for the last match of the season. admittedly we didn't change sponsor at the end of that season but we did change kit maker from le coq sportif to JJB. Isn't that the same situation as with this one or does it differ because LCS didn't sponsor us but just made the kit?

Swansea were in the same position last year when they had to have it presented at an away ground. As for the shirt, i was aware that city would be wearing the new shirt on the last home game

As for the shirt, i was aware that city would be wearing the new shirt on the last home game Swansea should have had the trophy presented at their last home game, but Leeds' appeal against their points deduction held it up. With no such problems this time round, we should have the trophy presented to us against Scunny.
