Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Cracking picture... if I could get a high res version i'd have this printed and framed!!!
AmericanScott Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Love the man I was in London on Wednesday and on the bus home, i'm pretty damn sure he got on! He sat the the seats opposite us and i was saying "omg it's Maxi holy shit" I turned to look at him and he moved towards the back to get away from me
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Author Posted 14 April 2009 What an awesome picture where is it from? The Guardian report of the game.
Thracian Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 The bloke is 100% enthusiasm and has shown his determination to succeed by looking at where his weaknesses lie and working on them. He's always had individual brilliance. Now though he's showing the strength to hold people off and to fight for the loose ball. He's doing his full stint in defence and making better decisions while also becoming seemingly more deadly in attack. The picture is wonderful because it captures the essence of the guy. His unrestrained passion for the game and huge joy when experiencing moments such as Saturday's - the orgasmic excitement of making the crowd roar. Of giving them something to remember. Funny though how many people lost faith in him and declined to stand his corner when he needed a bit of encouragement.
General Smuts Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 He still can't cross. But he's better at corners than Oakley so i'll let him be for now.
Ultra Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 The Guardian report of the game. Good to see them remember us for once.
lavrentis Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Good picture. It's Jesus-esque. Ill try and get a high resolution picture off them via email.
Daggers Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009  What the spuff has a Bakewell tart got to do with it? If all this did not suggest that Leicester firmly believe they have ended their one-year exile from the top two flights they had called home for the previous 124 years of their existence, then the sight of the club's owner, Milan Mandaric, gleefully clapping along to Rocking All Over the World and staff producing a Bakewell tart to accompany post-match tea and coffee in the media suite surely did.
lavrentis Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Here is the bloke who took the picture. Spent a bit of his time at Leicester.
Sods Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Has been good last couple of games as has Dyer. Both play better in the sun! Seriously though the Leeds right back Douglas? will still be having nightmares about Dyer and Gradel was constantly giving there left back a hard time. Its great to have two wide players who can change a game in the space of a few seconds whenever they touch the ball. I believe Gradel was surrounded each time he touched the ball, second half Delph made some great challenges on him. But the lad can deliver crosses such as Howards goal.
Fox You Forest Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009  What the spuff has a Bakewell tart got to do with it? I was chuckling away to myself when i read that. It's all about the Bakewell tart.
Daggers Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I was chuckling away to myself when i read that. It's all about the Bakewell tart. And there was me thinking getting pissed was the way forward last night - I'll know better on Saturday now, straight to Greggs for a couple of cream buns and a doughnut.
Lillehamring Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 The Guardian report of the game. when i was in the observer magazine, i was able to order a print ot the picture they posted, i imagine the guardian will do the same but you'd have to pay, but worth it i think...
FoxesFan123 Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Last season we were CRYING out for some genuine wingers. In Gradel and Dyer we've now got two cracking wingers, who can harrass the opposition full-backs all day long. Can't wait to see how they'll do in the championship next season. And to think, apparently Gradels preferred position is on the left!
Joe. Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 when i was in the observer magazine, i was able to order a print ot the picture they posted, i imagine the guardian will do the same but you'd have to pay, but worth it i think... Just e-mailed somebody to ask if it's possible/rough price estimates. How much did yours cost if you can remember?
Matt Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I reckon I have found the picture I am going to get a Canvas of! Still gonna wait a couple of weeks, there still could be a couple of celebration pictures to come over the next couple of weeks which I might change my mind too.
pooleyLCFC Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Max Gradel has the right attitude, enthusiasm, determination and is eager. When carlisle went 1-0 up at home the other weak Warner got the ball out the back of the net and booted it towards the away dugout every player stood still except Maxi who sprinted from his right wing position to go and get the ball and take it to the halfway line. Im glad hes performing as well as Dyer long may it continue!!!
