syston_fox Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Sheer quality. Been some awesome pictures from the season: Lloyd's celebrations, Gradel's free kick at MK, Steve celebrating yesterday with the celebrations in the background...
Lillehamring Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Just e-mailed somebody to ask if it's possible/rough price estimates. How much did yours cost if you can remember? no idea, depends on what size you get too
leftsideoverhere Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 From the article... The sense of occasion was rather bizarrely ramped up with a bugler playing reveille as the teams made their way on to the pitch... Put your slice of bakewell tart down and do some fooking research you knobend!
lou Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Ive been a massive Gradel fan for ages having watched him play for the Academy a lot before he went out to Bournemouth and was furious when they extended that loan as I thought he maybe, just maybe, could have helped us stay up. In retrospect, Im glad we didnt play him as it could have had a negative effect on him and knocked some of that passion and enthusiasm out of him. Ive spent weeks defending him against the Haters on 606 and various other forums because, for all his faults, I believe hes got a massive heart and always gives his all for this club no matter what. The kids had some horrendous problems over the last couple of years.... its amazing the character hes shown when most people a lot older than him would have buckled. Hes got a spirit about him that belies his tender age. Long may he be a City player.

MPH Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 True that. You're spot on.Father-son hug. looks more like a gay hug to me.
Koke Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Probably, but still nothing wrong with a bit of man love.
iancognito Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Credit to Pearson for taking him out of the team when he was clearly lacking a bit of form though. He could have left him in and heaped more pressure on his shoulders but he obviously recognised he was burnt out both on the pitch and probably off it too. Looking forward to seeing Max and Lloyd going at Championship teams next year and wondering what if we'd had them last season.
bluebeau Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 looks more like a gay hug to me. What a great photo. Shows genuine affection between the 2 guys, & also why Big Nige is such a good man manager. With the problems that Max has had to endure off the field, a hug from the gaffer is just the tonic. Brilliant!
wirralsimon Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I watched him closely at the Tranmere away game. He was the only player that looked really, really fooked off at the way we were playing. Says it all really. Simon
carterfox90 Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 the guy has been an inspiration with all his personal problems & understandable drop in form nigel has managed him very well this year & now we are reaping the benefits do you think we should warn the rest of the championship teams what they are in for next year feck their find out soon enough
