Skip to 5:40 seconds... I literally well up whenever I see this.

I was in tears at the game when this went in.

The pub on the seafront yesterday after the game. Those Arsenal and Chelsea "fans". EPIC FAIL!!! lol lol lol

I failed to impress a single one of them by showing them my Hereford ticket stub from last week. Disgraceful.

"Would you stand up on a terrace? Would you fuck!" :chant:

So it was you singing "Where were you at Hereford?" to the incredibly bemused and confused Chelsnal "fans". And, I have to admit, I didn't have a clue why you were singing it either.

Yep, that was me! :D

It really did require the relevant props for that song to work.

They might think they have the best side of football (i know many plastic fans around me think they do), but i feel sorry for them.

Being a "fan" of such a big team means, when you visit a game at old Trafford, the Bridge etc, your support isnt fully acknowledged. Take yesterday, everyone City fan at southend was recognised, and there support acknowledged, these big team "fans" will never get that feeling.

Being such a big team, they will never experience the full feeling of relegation or the Jubilation of getting promoted, The thrill of the Play-offs or the feeling when your team has done you proud battling for 90 minutes against a bigger opponent, or being the underdog and coming through the victor. Yes they have champions league etc, but thats nothing on the mighty League one :P

Makes me Glad to be a City supporter

I was on the beach before the match and heard plenty of our fans singing.

Lot of Spurs fans in Southend. Played football with a couple.

Not many people joined in. It wasn't all that memorable in comparison to some of the other moments in that pub. :giggle:

I didn't know you were in there, to be fair. I bet I look like a right ignorant cow.

'Have you ever been a game'? lol

We fully owned all the Arsenal and Chelsea wankers in there. They didnt have a clue what was going on!!

Must have been strange to hear proper chants from proper fans.

Plastics will never experience the range of emotions we experienced yesterday. Nerves and optimism before kickoff, concern when mk and posh were winning with us still level, fear of defeat when they hit the bar just after half-time, hope when Fryatt stepped up and euphoria from that point onwards.

It's not just a 90-minutes-a-week thing for proper fans. It stays with you at all times, and I wouldn't swap my experiences for anything these ****** get from football.
