Likewise, I absolutely choked. Fabulous.

And while I generally agree with Ched's original post in principal I do wonder why he cares enough to go on some crusade about it. Let people be to whatever makes them happy I suppose.

:dunno:

It was mainly because I was proud of what happened yesterday and I thought I'd comment on how I find it sad that they will probably never be able to experience the feelings that I went through yesterday.

I cared about something, so I thought I'd raise the debate and see how others felt.

A game that was so big that you couldn't be bothered to attend..

lol give up you obese keyboard raping ****.

I've decided not to go to home games anymore, and I stuck to my guns even though this was classed as a "big" game against a "good" side. Fickle like 6,000 part-timers, or commendable for doing what I believe in? I know what's more desirable, but I know your retarded way of thinking.

Surely people go to football matches for the atmosphere aswell as following the team. It's the part and parcel of following your local team isn't it? How am I gutted? Yeah we won 1-0 I'm happy but I made a promise months back that I wouldn't go to a game because I lost alot of love for it.

How does size of place come to where you finish in the league? lol

Because you stated that if we were in Colchester place we wouldn't get that many people on this forum but i fail to see why. Even if we were in the bottom half they'll be just as many people on here moaning on how poor we're doing.

I go for football to watch Leicester first and foremost and the atmosphere second. Also you lost the love for it ? Not a real football fan mate it seems.

Yeah I agree. You'd have to be a bit of a twat to have something like a Man City signature and avatar suddenly appear in the season they get billions invested.

That was a joke mate  I'm a Leicester fan and thats it.

Yeah that's right. 100% Correct :thumbup::unsure:

I'm glad I didn't go MK Dons or Peterborough for that matter because it gave me a sick feeling seeing that video of some guy who's first away game it was against Peterborough. Now is that taking the piss or is that taking the piss. How am I not a real football fan when I'm priority one this season, I could easily ring up and sort a ticket out for Crewe when they first come out. Like I said, I would much rather be kicking a football then watching a football.

We SHOULD be getting big crowds for every game, the fan base is too large and have stuck to a one off experiance, why don't look at Nottingham Forest. Now come on, they lost fans by the season when they failed to go up.

I respect what your saying and i agree with nearly all off it. I agree that people just turning out for the big games is pathetic. When people like yourself travel to all parts of the country on cold wet tuesday nights. I thought you would be first for getting away tickets though. First time in this league and alot of new grounds to visit and not the typical souless new stadiums. Also you enjoy playing football more then watching it, i think most people do. I've rather play then watch but i'm addicted to supporting Leicester though. I can't just turn off and not watch them anymore. No matter what happens, i will always be going back even though i get really really pissed off.

I agree with the big crowds but how the world is these days and with people out of work, not everyone could afford to be forking out everyweek. Remember last season we had the 3rd best home crowd in the league and we went down.

This thread was nailed by Ched from the first post. Almost feel sorry for these guys.

On Saturday at about 8am I'll set off with 3 others for Southend, meet 20 odd others down there, don't intend to return home until late Sunday and know that win loose or draw i'll have had a fooking epic weekend.

THAT is what it's all about not a sky remote and a £50 replica shirt from JJ fooking B

And then from the same person...

Oi yeah im an arsenal fan man yeah! I was just supporting chelsea coz i dnt like liverpool!

Idiots like this do my head in, especially at school. When you get the Liverpool fans asking me what league Leicester are in etc. generally most of them have never been to a footy game, idiots everywhere. Would rather speak to Cov, Forest and Derby fans.

Someone i know started to support chelsea when they started winning stuff, he was a leicester fan before that :frusty:

Games like monday make me proud to support leicester and i wouldn't swap it for anything

Pretty much what I was thinking.

I totally get where Ched is coming from but some are failing to comprehend what he's saying and getting all over sensitive. My daughter was deliberately born in Leicester but has never lived there and is being brought up as a Leicester fan, she attended her first game at three. It's down to the parents to encourage their kids to support their local team/team of the place where they were born but if the parents are glory hunting Man U fans etc with no connection to the club at all then there is no hope really. Sad.

Exactly, I blame it on how and who you are brought up by really.

At the age of 4 or 5 to 10 (Roughly) as much as I hate to admit it I was a Man Utd 'fan', but during those ages I was always took to Leicester games by my dad and Leicester were my '2nd team', When I was 10 (Probably abit younger really) I thought and realised that I was never going to see Man Utd regularly (I had gone to Old Trafford about 4 times though - More than alot of Man Utd fan have now) so fooked Man Utd off and Leicester were my first and only team, I cannot look back now.

Without my dad though I would never have become a Leicester fan, as much as I really hate to admit this and it makes me feel sick to say it but if I was to support a local team and it wasn't for my dad I could have quite easily fell into the trap and lead down the path of supporting Covscum.

When I have a kid, I'm going to make sure they have no exposure to the Premiership until they've been to a whole season's worth of City games.

(I'll be like a Football Josef Fritzl-lite.)

I'm the same, due to family (my unlce as my folks have no interest in footy) i was raised as a liverpool fan (he lives in bootle) but thats also part of the reason i'm a leicester fan, The first game i ever went to was liverpool versus leicester in 94-95 season (i was even sat in the kop) and i just came away from the whole experience liking leicester and have been a fan ever since.

Now if i had never gone to the game i would probarly still be a liverpool fan as that was how i was raised, and where i live. However my brother is, and always has been an everton fan. And there is no-one (around when we were raised) who has any affiliation to everton. So i can understand the whole how raised aspect on one hand, but on the other there obviously is other factors.

I have no problem with people supporting any team as long as they have a reason (not just because they are a big team/always on sky/winning etc). Coming back to ched's original post i dont see why people claim to be fans if they have no passion for a team and obviously only "claim" to support a team as they feel that they have to "support" someone; and thus go for one of the big clubs, you never see anyone "claiming" to be a wycombe or swindon fan for that reason.

I tried my best and introduced all my kids to LCFC as soon as I could but Ive failed with my Son who's father's family were from Salford and made him a Man Utd fan (spit). He does like Leicester though and goes to quite a lot of games with me or his m8s when hes not working away but Man U are his main love. Hes been to OT a few times which is more than most Manc fans I guess :giggle:

There Ive said it...... its out in the open now and I feel ashamed but strangely relieved too. Please dont judge me

Why the hell should I apologise to someone when HE made a statement which was worse than anything I've seen on either Waccoe or Millwall Independent?

Taking his side does you no favours.

Man, you are really something, stop talking out of your backside and trying to justify some of the rubbish you've said!! I back all my claims with FACTS, some maybe too hard to swallow, especially to you!!

And here was me thinking, i would stop criticising you because I thought you and other people had got the message, but your just a canniving little man, your not even worth it!!!!!!

Do this squabbling have to be in every thread on Foxestalk? Maybe you two could discuss via PM?

For the record I believe Ultra should apologise but I'd rather not see it plastered all over the site. It's as bad as all that All Nighter shite from the other week...

Jeez, the amount of Facebook updates I'm getting at the moment from these plastic scousers, even some from Chelsea now is unreal.

I can't help feeling a little sorry for them though.

They're currently sitting there with their Doritos and dips pretending to be nervous and shouting "scum" everytime Ashley Cole goes near the ball. Add to that the fact they're sitting in full replica gear with You'll Never Walk Alone playing in the background, it's quite worrying.

They've no idea though.

Some of these same people were updating their statii yesterday saying "Get in there Steve Howard" and "Come on, Leicesters going up". However, I seriously doubt that they felt what we did yesterday when that ball hit the net. The sheer carnage after we scored yesterday, this is something they will never get to experience or know how to feel. Even the people that weren't there yesterday can surely draw upon a similar feeling. When we scored a last minute winner against our biggest rivals? When we went 4-0 up at the Sheepshaggers? When Max Gradel stook one in the top corner against MK Dons? Steve Claridge's shin?

You have to feel for them, the way most people my age are introduced to football is sad.

I often try to explain to them the feeling of falling down about three rows and getting kicked all over the place by fellow fans. It just doesn't register with them.

Ahh well.

Steve Howard's goal > Liverpool coming back against Chelsea (or not).

:appl:

When I get on the school bus in the morning there are 3 Liverpool fans waiting for me but I still manage to tear them apart. I'd rather win the League 1 trophy than none. :crylaugh: I also named more Liverpool players than all of the 3 could together!! Love it!!

I love being a Leicester fan and I'm proud to be a Leicester fan.

No, i'm bored of the Ultra crap, plus I don't have the free time to pass I had before!!

If someone is willing to attack someone verbally in public, they should apologise in public also!!!

Ultra, I might be arrogant, atleast i'm man enough to admit when i'm wrong, and man enough to say whatever I say on this forum to that persons face, can you?????????

THIS IS THE LAST I WILL SAY ON THIS MATTER< IF HE HAS ANYTHING TO SAY HE CAN TO MY FACE!!!

It's abit petty and boring isn't it. I return to the point I was trying to make a while ago that it seems no-one can have an opinion on here nowadays and if your opinion does differ its end up in a massive argument - There is nothing wrong with debate, but it normally ends up trading personal insults, I also return to the cliques threads a while back :giggle:

Mind you don't think i've had an argument or good moan for a while!
