Guest Bilo Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Plastics will never experience the range of emotions we experienced yesterday. Nerves and optimism before kickoff, concern when mk and posh were winning with us still level, fear of defeat when they hit the bar just after half-time, hope when Fryatt stepped up and euphoria from that point onwards. It's not just a 90-minutes-a-week thing for proper fans. It stays with you at all times, and I wouldn't swap my experiences for anything these ****** get from football.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 The weekend mongfest continues...Here's the facebook statii from a "true" Man Ure fan I know (from Mumbai). Oh well, sod 'em. At least the ****** in The Borough yesterday know some Leicester songs now. Its those sort of comments which really irritate me about "plastics". A TRUE fan, be it United, Leicester or whoever, would be absolutely devastated that their team had been knocked out of a semi final through peno's. Had he had any true feeling towards his "team" he would understand the heartbreak of losing at wembley in penalties
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Hark now hear the Leicester sing The Arsenal were all quiet And now we're in the Championship Because of Matty Fryatt Wish I'd thought of that while still in the pub. Fail.
C-man Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 FT sang to fake cockneys, 'Have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury? Plastics said 'No, I don't think so, we are the Sky Sports Gooners.
Fosse Boy Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 FT sang to Van Persies, 'Have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury?Plastics said 'No, I don't think so, we are the Sky Sports Gooners.
Corky Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 FT sang to Van Persies, 'Have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury?Plastics said 'No, I don't think so, we are the Sky Sports Gooners.
C-man Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Edited above post from 'Van Persies' to 'fake cockneys'
Fosse Boy Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Edited above post from 'Van Persies' to 'fake cockneys' I love how they were all chanting "Eeeeeeeeeeeessix, Eeeeeeeeeeeessix!!!" too. What a fine bunch of confuddled chaps they were.
Fosse Boy Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 On a side note, that pub was SHIT! I could have sworn the first pint I bought in there was £2, then they hiked it up to £2.90! Maybe they enforced the "out of towner tax".
Monk Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 We should have been given a discount for the live music we provided! MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Scow Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 I have to work with a load of top four fans and I'm the only Leicester supporter there. Unbelievable. The feeling I had on Saturday can never be matched by any of the glory hunting, arm chair, sky sports watching pseudo-fans. While people are free to choose who they support, it winds me up that local clubs suffer as a result. Obviously they'll be some who attend games at their local clubs, but I'd imagine the vast majority don't bother.
Koke Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 All my friends and acquaintances are Arsenal fans. Literally 95% of them are. Safe to say I had a better weekend than them.
Monk Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 The guy I live with at the moment is an Arsenal fan, and I've been to more Arsenal home games than he has (2vs0). Yet he claims to be a MASSIVE fan.
Daggers Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 On a side note, that pub was SHIT! It was - it used to be seriously brilliant: wooden floors, horseshoe bar and with one of the best jukeboxes in the world.
C-man Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 I'm sorry to bring this thread up, again, but: LOLLL LIVERPOOL = SHITTEST TEAM EVER.. NO TROPHIES LAST SEASON.. NO TROPHIES THIS SEASON.. GET ITTTTT !! COMPARED TO UNITED WHO WON CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AND PREMIERSHIP LAST SEASON.. AND ARE GOING TO WIN PREMIERSHIP THIS SEASON AND HAVE ALREADY WON CARLING CUP AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CUP AND CHARITY SHIELD MOTHER ****ERSSSSSS!! Classic counter-argument: liverpool liverpoool liverpoooooolll haha haha hha haahaa utdddd r wakkkk told u once told u twice told u three times bout time u got tooo knnoooooowwwwww!!!! Don't mess with those crazy Man U fans though: LOLLL CHILL U CAN TAKE THE WIN, VAN DE SAR PROBS FELT SORRY FOR LIVERPOOL, BESIDES U AINT WON NO TROPHIES, N U AINT GNA WIN SHIT THIS YEAR EITHER CUZ UR MANAGERS A SHITHOLE ALEX FERGUSON IS GOD WHICH IS WHY HE GUIDED US TO THE PREMIERSHIP N CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LAST SEASON MMM WEN HAVE LIVERPOOL EVER DONE THAT? MMMM LET ME THINK .. IM GNA BE HERE FOR A WHILE UNO SO HUSH UR MOUTH Argument over.
Fox You Forest Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 Google Translator doesn't recognize it, So I'm lost.
Craig Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 :crylaugh: Classic, i love watching them bitch a******t themselves on Facebook.
C-man Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 I think the translation is as follows: LOLLL LIVERPOOL = SHITTEST TEAM EVER.. Laugh out loud. Liverpool are the worst team in history. They won no trophies last season, or this season. Do you understand? This is in comparison to Manchester United who won the Premiership and Champions League last season and will most probably win the Premiership this season in addition to the Carling Cup, World Championship Cup, and Charity Shield, so there. ------- liverpool liverpoool liverpoooooolll haha haha hha haahaa utdddd r wakkkk told u once told u twice told u three times bout time u got tooo knnoooooowwwwww!!!! Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool. Ha ha, United aren't very good. I told you once, infact I told you twice. Hell, I told you three times, you should know by now. ------- LOLLL CHILL U CAN TAKE THE WIN, VAN DE SAR PROBS FELT SORRY FOR LIVERPOOL, BESIDES U AINT WON NO TROPHIES, N U AINT GNA WIN SHIT THIS YEAR EITHER CUZ UR MANAGERS A SHITHOLE ALEX FERGUSON IS GOD WHICH IS WHY HE GUIDED US TO THE PREMIERSHIP N CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LAST SEASON MMM WEN HAVE LIVERPOOL EVER DONE THAT? MMMM LET ME THINK .. IM GNA BE HERE FOR A WHILE UNO SO HUSH UR MOUTH Laugh out loud. Don't worry. You can take the win as Van De Sar probably felt sorry for Liverpool. Besides, you haven't won no trophies, and you aren't going to win any faeces this year, either. This is because your manager is of toilet quality, whereas Alex Ferguson is actually the father of Christ. This can be shown by the winning of the Premiership and Champions League last season. I've been racking my mighty football brain, but I just can't see that Liverpool have ever achieved this. I'll be here for a while if you wish to contribute to our wonderful discussion further. To be fair, if the Liverpool 'fan' knew anything either, he/she would know that Liverpool had won the League/European Cup double three times (77,78,84), and the League/UEFA Cup double twice (73,76).
Sods Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 Does my head in still loads of them in this town, don't like to talk about football with them. Watching football in a pub is always good, but when your surrounded by idiots its shite. Its not the fact that they support one of the big four its just if i asked a United, Arsenal, Liverpool fan who Tom Cleverley, Kerrea Gilbert and Jack Hobbs are they wouldnt have a clue.
Sods Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 Im not being funny but if my team was playing in a game like Liverpool Arsenal in the week I would be going mental. No not these guys, oh and when they say theyve been to a game they say yeah a champions league game. Oh was it the Madrid away or the Brondby at home.
