Sly Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I have an iPhone, yes I know, whopee do for me ..... I know! What I thought would be really nice, was a Foxestalk application, where I can log on and access the forum without the need to go for Safari! Anyone got any ideas how to create one, anyone on here capable of making one?
Sir Fynwy Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Just load it in safari what's the problem with that? That's one thing I don't get with the iphone, everything has to be an app, are people using them unable to do anything themselves?
Daggers Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Time and cost - no one is going to make an iFT app, there's not the demand.

Monk Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 why would it be awesome? You can save foxestalk as an icon on your home screen, just click the fcker and it takes you here? I don't see the point?
Guest Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 That's one thing I don't get with the iphone, everything has to be an app, are people using them unable to do anything themselves? Is there an app that fetches me vodka? I knew I should have gotten that pesky iphone.
Babylon Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Send me a cheque for £2500 to cover my time and i'll whip you one up in a jiffy.
Corky Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Send me a check for £2500 to cover my time and i'll whip you one up in a jiffy. Ooh kinky, Babs
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Send me a check for £2500 to cover my time and i'll whip you one up in a jiffy. It's gonna take you 5000 hours?! (You see I'm implying that Babs will work for 50p an hou... oh, nevermind!)
Sly Posted 15 April 2009 Author Posted 15 April 2009 The iPhone is great, it has loads of sh*t apps though!! Safari isn't exactly the most stable of browising platfroms let's be honest. I currently have it bookmarked as an icon but it isn't great. ....for £2500 ... I'm sure I could learn to do it myself!
Sly Posted 15 April 2009 Author Posted 15 April 2009 It was only a general question anyhow, I think the long and short of this is it's OFF!
Babylon Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 It's gonna take you 5000 hours?! Probably because I wouldn't have a fecking clue where to start
Daggers Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 That's one thing I don't get with the iphone, everything has to be an app, are people using them unable to do anything themselves? Fetch me a cheese and onion cob.
Bert Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Had a look at an Iphone ages back, and I think they're well over-rated.

Each to their own - for me and the three people I suggested them to it's the singlemost best gadget I've ever owned. It is fixed to my palm from when I wake to when I sleep. I hardly use Facebook on the desktop, I love the FB app better - the internet is ace, the photo apps are superb and gaming is a league above any other phone. Plus, it integrates with the households growing collection of iPods and iTunes collections.
JoeyB Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 It has a shit camera which puts me off the Iphone and can't video! If it had a 5mp camera i would be on it!

TBH Joe - I think the pictures I post on Faceybook are OK for a camera on a phone. Not only that but the apps help editing in ways I've not seen on other phones. I reckon that if anyone is that precious about photography they ought to get a proper SLR. I look at other people's pix that they post from phones and cameras and reckon you'd never guess the megapixels involved. With pictures it is all about the lens - and almost all phones have shit ones. Video? You got me
