Southend Pre-Match Masterbating!

I saw on my Sky re-run of the Leeds game that Gradel picked up his 6th booking, when did he serve a suspension? Because to me, it looks like he picked up his 5th against Peterborough, but hasn't missed a game since? :dunno:

Unless his booking against Palace in the FAC3RR doesn't count, which means he'll be suspended against S****horpe, I think? Anyone shed any light on this?

As for the game, I fancy a half an hour rendition of 'We are Champions, Champions of League One' with monumental scarf and shirt waving.

The bookings get wiped off at the start of April so he is most probably on 1 or 2 yellows now.

Not really wiped. It's just that the suspension is at 10 bookings rather than 5.

Why is the thread description Pre Match (Music)?

Well, because it's going to be the Pre-match thread, and I was mentioning a point about what song I wanted to sing. Essentially. There's no real reason, I just wrote it like that.

'Nobody gets promotion on our ground' especially Leicester

Leicester City visit Roots Hall on Saturday top of the table and knowing a win would clinch promotion and the League One championship.

However Macca, talking to the Echo, wants to make sure they wait another few days at least: "You don't want another team to be on your ground dancing around and celebrating success because it hurts. So we want to spoil their party this weekend and it's a really big game because they obviously have plenty to play for and I still think we do as well so it's going to be very exciting."

Southend, who have won 12 of their last 16 matches, remain five points outside the top six with just three games to go but Macca is refusing to give up on a play-off place just yet.

"It's still mathematically possibly so we have to keep on going. We seem to do better against the bigger teams and even though we lost to MK Dons it was a really good performance and we will need another one on Saturday. Leicester look like they will be going up so it could be the last time we play them for a while so we want to make the most of it."
