Wycombe Fox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I've never known Live Chat to be so dead. Me, manchester_foxes_fan, dave_1988 and lamby kept it going all night. At one point I was left siding then running to the other side of my bedroom and right siding - all by myself!

Wycombe Fox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I even wanted to be 'sh*gged by Maxi Gradel' - my wife's worried about my mental state!
Sods Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Just got back, great to keep that home record from the Millwall game. One loss at home, can't moan with that. Still yet to lose in 2009 at home. Morrison two goals! Always believe in Chris Powell. Great season.
Saladin Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Just back...one hell of a night amazing atmosphere!!

davieG Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Typical - wait over an hour to get the goals and presentations recorded off Sky, decide I cant wait any longer disconnect and the bugger comes on - sod it I'm off to bed. Goodnight Champions
BlueSi13 Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Good game, we were great first half, awful second, S****horpe were vice versa, draw is a fair result for sure! Definitely reckon our list of newcomers should include a new GK (was Ian Walker our last "proper" no 1?), new left and right back, new centre midfielder and most importantly IMO, a new striker with power and most of all PACE!! our front line cannot function when we are pinned back! we have no out ball, nobody that can run of a defenders shoulder and breakaway behind, this addition could be crucial next year in the Championship But anyways doubt if anybody cares right now, we're champions for a couple of months at least so lets enjoy it! btw thought the atmosphere was electric and the Walkers looked stunning when the players were walking out and for most of the game in fact
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Loved how the Mexican wave went round like 3 times. That was Class and the National Anthem
JakeShingler Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Oh my what a game best game i been to the walkers. I even got a Scuthorpe birds number during the game hahahahaha
iancognito Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I'm not much for orchestrated celebrations which I didn't think were that well organised or communicated anyway ditto the penalty shoot out. Just as bad as I expected. Someone needs to have a word in Birch's ear and tell him he's supposed to be talking to us not chatting with his mates on the pitch and hoping we all listen in. Don't get me started on the Quo/Queen album that got dragged out again. Just embarrassing. Apart from a save from Fryatt in the first half and the goal line clearance, we didn't create much in open play but the only people bothered about the game tonight were the 500 in the corner. L Block - for the record - did us proud as usual, well done lads.
Daggers Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 L Block - for the record - did us proud as usual, well done lads. German Bombers? No surrender to the IRA (the apparent English national anthem)? I thought, after the first fifteen minutes, we were subsumed by a bunch of absolute cockwands tonight. I never go downstairs during half-time but I went down tonight to get away from the part-time, glory-hunting bigotted arseholes who came in tonight. These tards had the humour to point at N-block and ask them where they were when we were shit? Fucking arseholes.
lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I never go downstairs during half-time but I went down tonight to get away from the part-time, glory-hunting bigotted arseholes who came in tonight. I had a row of them behind me, funny how the comments changed through the match as well. One guy even started by saying his last home game was 2 years ago then suddenly he's buying a season ticket, then they go 2 - 1 up and suddenly he realises why he doesn't come... f... off. Quo annoys me, can't remember hearing tina turner this time round, or maybe my temporary deafness (due to a cold) had become selective in it's hearing.

Daggers Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Flags. You like them? Me? I reckon flags look pretty decent, especially when they are of a decent size and being waved about during games creating an image of motion in a stand. I thought it was wonderful that the club gave flags away to everyone at the beginning of last season - my two kids adored waving them at games. So why, when me and Tom walked into L1 tonight, were two stewards and a stack of Leicestershire's finest cunstabulary removing the sticks from children's' flags?
C-man Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 They wanted to win the game more than us, well that's what it looked like for the majority of the second half anyway. Suppose it doesn't matter at all, but it's nice to keep the unbeaten home run going which looked extremely unlikely when they went 2-1 up. Thought the atmosphere was pretty decent at times, went a bit dead when they were top though. Also, the lack of WYS disappointed me greatly. It is definitely evident that attendance and the singing of WYS is negatively correlated. I was delighted to hear Hobbs had signed when I got to the ground, and it was great to see Gilbert and Cleverley too. Gradel's (amongst others) celebrations were a joy to watch. I'm ever so proud of the team Nigel Pearson has assembled.
Daggers Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Grow up. Oh and they were pointing at M block not N. Sorry? Who the fuck are you to tell me who people were pointing at? I was in L1 and, unlike you, happen to be in possession of a working brain. Grow up? You stupid little cnt.
Matt Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Jesus Christ - some of our fans really are cunts.Miserable, moaning cunts. You have a team which has just won the league, a shirt without a sponsor and yet you still scramble around for something to bitch about. You dickless bunch of Bunty-reading, trainspotting fuktards. Ironic.

Koke Posted 25 April 2009 Author Posted 25 April 2009 Gradel's (amongst others) celebrations were a joy to watch. I'm ever so proud of the team Nigel Pearson has assembled. You should have seen him on SSN. He was like a kid in a candy shop, running around, jumping on Nigel whilst he was giving Sky an interview. It was like Christmas come early for Gradel.

lefox Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Calm down kids.. last time I looked we were lifting a trophy.. funny how quick that goes out of the window..
C-man Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Grow up. Oh and they were pointing at M block not N. What do you mean grow up? Those chants have NO place in football whatever you think.
