Matt Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 All due to people location really, Covscum for me being as I live closer to Covscum, rather than Derby or Forest - Personally I not that bothered by Derby or Forest, My old boss is a Derby fan so spose I used to have some rivalry there, but not anymore really.

NO1 classes us as a fierce rival Sheep for me, all those years we shared in the premier league and Walshy's absolute screamer from 3 yards in the play off final makes them the ones i really want to see beaten! After that it was be CovScum, this game a has developed a right sharp edge to it in recent seasons! it all has the air of something personal about it! it's also hilarious watching their hearts break as we talk another 3 points of them at the Walkers! Couldn't really care less about Forest, really don't see the fascination some fans have with them, they don't have anything to do with City as far as i can tell, maybe its because the rivalry was way before my time or because during my years growing up we were rarely in the same league I'd love 6 points of the Posh though!

For the record I don't hate any of them and want to beat them all as I do all the teams in the Championship. Hating them just gives them some credibility and makes it look like we actually care about them.

I want to obliterate them when we play and finish at least 20 points ahead of the next. I think it is normal to hate them and of course we care about them like they do with us.

iancognito Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Any of them but if I had to pick it'd be Cov because we're their local derby and it's always good to beat them in their cup final. Forest and the sheep tend to hate each other and see us a distant second. With Posh and WBA (possibly Brum too) it'll be a bit easier on the milometer for a lot of people next year.

But Forest need a result against Southampton to stay up, Derby have only recently secured their Championship status and Cov's freefall in recent weeks has showed them up as the average team they are. Short of obscene investment, I honestly can't see any of their situations improving. Beating these teams will be satisfying, but I honestly think we'll finsih above all of them anyway and victories over our local rivals will be just another 3 points.
