More than 10k a year :o
Doubt I'll ever earn that.

TPH isn't far away from 30,000 posts either

I've not even hit 10k in four years lol

Daggers is alive and well. I swore at him in the pub yesterday.

Did you get a section 5 public order offence and a fine of £80 for it?

30,000 posts, let's say an average of 1 minute per post...

that's 500 hours, which is £2850 on minimum wage! not half bad that, if you were getting paid...

Why? Did he call you a c**t?

That could be any of us.

Why would anyone want to keep their identity hidden on an internet forum?! Bit fruity.

It gets a bit annoying sometimes when you've developed such a reputation that you can't wade into a debate with a fairly clear, open minded opinion without having the usual crowd come flooding in looking for a row.

I can sympathise with Daggers if he just wants a bit of time off to go and post without people having to comment on every little thing he says.

There's also the Ash17 reasons for wanting a name change, namely escaping a bet with Manny. I was looking through My Pictures the other day and found a screenshot of an old private message he sent me begging for a name change after that £20 fuss. lol

To be fair Daggers has been known to bring up past things and reputations whenever certain people posted.

For example, on a lot of occasions when Walkers posted in the LCFC forum, he'd use the 'not been to a game' thing to ridicule his comment.

There may be a reason why he does bring things up. Like me reminding kyleolly how sexy the old green pinstripe City kit is, which I must admit I haven't done for a while.

Oh sure. Daggers is a troll, knows that and enjoys that - I'm not going to justify everything he's ever posted.

I'm just saying that, as someone who's developed something of a negative reputation (at times intentionally, fishing for reactions is an amusing way to spend five minutes on a forum :P) I understand if he just wants some time to contribute to the forum as a bystander and I don't think it's "sad" or "taking it too seriously" if he comes back with an alt account just to chill out and talk about Leicester or chebs for a bit.

:dunno:
