gazzer Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Can anyone suggest a place I can take my pal visiting from out of town to watch the Rugby in town tomorrow? He'll have an 8-year-old with him.
Father Ted Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Good to hear , Croft will surely be called in to the Lions squad if Quinlans ban is upheld. Quinlan lost his appeal and Croft is in. Also good on Vesty He's been in rich form recently since being moved to fly-half. I can also see Ben Woods establishing himself as a starter in future England games at Flanker.
Uncle Albert Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Boat House in Barrow for me tomorrow watching the game.
SemperEadem Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Can anyone suggest a place I can take my pal visiting from out of town to watch the Rugby in town tomorrow? He'll have an 8-year-old with him. Take them to the welford road they will be showing it there.
davieG Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 So is this going to be like the LI game stop, start, turgid error ridden or is it going to be worthwhile watching?
C-man Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 So is this going to be like the LI game stop, start, turgid error ridden or is it going to be worthwhile watching? Leinster are several leagues above London Irish, it should be a good one. Leaving in half hour
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Only about 18k there... But Tigers still managed their third win in a row at the Way, which is something we've not done this year. Not this calendar year but we won 8 in a row at home earlier in the season.
Joe. Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Stuart Barnes refusing to say a decent word about the Tigers as usual on SSN this morning. Cunt.
Zingari Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Anyone have a sopcast link? this any good ? edit; sorry not what i thought you wanted http://www.justin.tv/jonnytv7
Finnegan Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 That's what I'm watching at the moment. Sopcast is usually a bit clearer..
davieG Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 I've always wonder why teams don't try for more drop goals - seems like money for old rope compared with other ways to score
Finnegan Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 I've always wonder why teams don't try for more drop goals - seems like money for old rope compared with other ways to score It's much harder than it looks, if you do it consistently it'll become even harder because people will start closing you down, it's only three points and it's generally settling for less when you've got the ball. It's basically saying "we're not confident we can score tries." There are times it's worth doing, that second Sexton kick is an example of that, but it's frequently wasteful.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRZZZZZZZ!
davieG Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Desperate times now! it's slipping out of their hands - not sure if it ever was in them.
Benji Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 The moment G. Murphy went off we never looked like winning. Horrible that Crane went off so early, he would have made a massive difference towards the end. Lineouts were terrible today, Tulangi never got in the game and the kicking was generally poor. Congrats to Leinster deserved on the day.
Joe. Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 I hope Stuart Barnes brought a spare pair of underwear with him.
Ultra Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 The moment G. Murphy went off we never looked like winning. Horrible that Crane went off so early, he would have made a massive difference towards the end.Lineouts were terrible today, Tuilagi never got in the game and the kicking was generally poor. Congrats to Leinster deserved on the day. This. The run of physical games in recent weeks took its toll in the end. But congrats to Cockerell for making the most of what in January looked like being a poor season.
